Villa Lina Zoï

Location near old town. Great proximity however due to the fact that the neighbourhood in on a mountain going back was a challenge. Flat in good state. Host generally reachable and willing to help.

Bedrooms downstairs had no A/C. Main bathroom had no toilet.

I really appreciated the host always being there for any questions we had. He was also exceptionally nice with us even when we got in some trouble after our group split up and needed an extra set of keys. The place is spacious and perfect for a big group of friends like we were. The neighbourhood felt safe around other villas and families. The beds were comfortable as well. The kitchen and dining area was the best part about the villa. it overlooks a beautiful scenery of Nice.

Reaching the location was a little difficult but it is still reasonably simple when you get an idea of the area.

It was spacious and was clean

The stairs are insane to get to the apartment and also inside the apartment, to be honest if I knew that, I would have not rented it. Finding a parking was a nightmare.

Excellent house, brand new and comfortable both for the location and for the environment. Alexandre very kind person, reliable and always available, I advise everyone to take this house.

Everything is ok, there wasn't anything in particular that I didn't like.

I loved the fact that we could arrive at night and that our arrival and departure times were very flexible. Also, the host speaks very good English so it is very easy to communicate with him, if you cannot speak French. He helped us out several times and was very responsive, even answering our calls. We were given privacy but he was always available to contact. In fact, he even gave us extra sheets once we had requested them.

Nothing negative to report.

The only thing I liked about the property: it was as spacious as advertised.

UNPLEASANT DISHONEST HOST. TRASH BAGS AT THE DOOR. LEAKING CEILINGS/ WALLS/ MOLD. DIRTY APARTMENT. NO PARKING. LOTS OF STAIRS. Property was listed as having parking available. I inquired about the parking situation well in advance of our stay. There was no reply from the host so I assumed that since place is listed with parking available that wouldn’t be an issue. I messaged the host on the way to the property. To my surprise host replied right away letting me know that there’s no parking on premises at all. He informed me that I will need to find parking on the street. Upon arriving we discovered that finding a parking spot would be extremely difficult. The street was under construction; there were “no parking” signs all over the place as the spaces were reserved for the workers and construction equipment. We needed to wait good half and hour until the construction crew left so we could park and unload our luggage. We were convinced that listing a property as having a parking would mean we could park by the very building or on its premises. Instead we had to take the stairs up the hill to the apartment. It was somewhat inconvenient considering we travelled with kids. We were greeted at the door by … wait .. not by the host, not by his employee … we were greeted by stinky trash bags blocking the entry door. We send the messages to the host; his wife promptly arrived to take away the trash. She pleaded that we don’t bring this up on our review. She gave us a chilled bottle of vodka. We declined the offer. Few moments later she brought us a case of Heineken. We declined the gift but she still left it in the apartment. Word of advise; if someone is telling you they don’t drink and decline to accept your alcohol please respect their preferences whether they are due to health reasons or personal/ religious beliefs.

Beautiful, spacious space.

We were unable to contact the owners ahead of time and so were unsure of the rental. We didn’t have enough towels or the wifi code.

fantastic property, spacious for a large group, everything you need for a comfortable stay, well placed in Nice and great hosts who were always available when needed. Quiet area but few minutes walk to access busy areas. Station is 8 mins walk and great train line to access all of the area and into Italy.

don’t be put off by the stairs at the side of the house, there is a smaller set at the other side of the building which make it so much easier if you have luggage.
