Beautiful Provencal Villa Close To The Beach And Accommodation

A wonderful old villa, eccentric layout but full of charm and character, in enormous grounds with several terraces and beautiful trees and flowers. Two marvellous terrace areas with copious seating and dining options. No air conditioning but plenty of fans. Well stocked kitchen for family cooking, and generous amounts of towels and bed linens. Plenty of seaside equipment for the beach, and books and games. Ideally suited to families and children (4 bunk beds) - all fully enclosed. Unfortunately the beach is 25 mins walk away. And the villa is halfway up the hill with a very steep road or steps. We found this trek - in July heat - very debilitating (but we're in our sixties!).

Beautiful view of the ocean, very spacious property, great communication with host and caretaker.

We had a wonderful stay with our family in Villefranche-Sur-Mer at Le Bastionnet. The house was perfect for us, we loved waking up every morning to the sea view and sitting on the terrace for breakfast. We were able to easily get to the train station and visit Nice, Antibes, and Monaco, but also walk around Villefranche. Emmanuel and Christel were quick to respond and we had a smooth check-in and checkout. We would definitely recommend for a family vacation.

We stayed with 10 people in the house. The house is a charming house with a stunning view and an adventurous garden. The kids felt like living in a mansion and adored the garden. The house has „character“ with a big living room and lots of beds. The house has everything needed, starting from a well equipped kitchen, beach toys for the kids, washing machine etc. The beach is in walking distance and a good little workout as the house is on a hill. I would recommend the house and hope to come back one day.
