Meloussa Boutique Hotel

The hotel was a peaceful, tranquil retreat and the perfect base for exploring Menorca. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained and tastefully furnished in a simple, minimalist style that created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. I slept incredibly well every night. I also appreciated the small fridge in the room, which was a thoughtful addition. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of some of my favourite restaurants, bars and cafés, as well as the beautiful morning market. There was always delicious ice cream waiting for me on the walk back in the evening! Parking was also very easy, with plenty of free spaces available within a short 10-minute walk. The breakfast each morning was fresh, varied and delicious. Overall, everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations

Honestly, very little. The hotel delivered exactly the peaceful and relaxing stay I was hoping for, and I would happily return without hesitation. If there was one suggestion, it would be the addition of more capsules for coffee left in the reception on my return home in the evening.

What I liked was the communication on how to enter the hotel after hours. The first impression was Wow! The entrance was welcoming, clean and bright. The decoration throughout was on a coastal theme. The towels are super soft. The bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing it had power behind it. There was complimentary; shower gel, shampoo , hand soap all organic and a bottle of Menorca water. Breakfast was cooked to order and served with a smile. Lluis the owner, arrived everyday at the hotel at breakfast time he always had time for a chat, helped with breakfast and computer work. That was a nice touch. The location is outstanding a very short walk to the fish market and about a 10 minuet walk to the cathedral. Everything is in easy reach. The old town is fascinating, a great place to discover on foot and people watching with gelato! The port is not far from the cathedral. A must to see is the old apothecary a hidden gem, its stepping back in time. A boat trip along the coast is worth the money, seeing how the island looks from sea. We were there early season without too many tourists.

The water is not good to drink as its salty. The hotel kept a large jar of water for drinking.

Nicely designed and cozy hotel, with everything we needed for our holidays, but above all, the gentleman who hosted us was very friendly and helpful - he texted me via WhatsApp prior to our arrival, gave useful information on the hotel and recommendations nearby, and he was responsive at all times.

Excellent breakfast. Location is in the heart of Ciatudella old town, near to everything.
