Comfortable clean with a warm welcome. Excellent kitchen facilities and a perfect location in the heart of the old town of Cuitadella.

We liked everything!

I was greeted by a lovely young man, Josep.. He took me to my room at the very top of the old building and then down to the ground floor where he showed me the kitchen, living room, and lovely private patio. I think the hotel only has 5 rooms. My room was bright, small, quaint and charming with a lovely terrace. There was a walk-in closet and a nice clean bathroom. I especially appreciated the heater on the wall, given that it was chilly outside. The electric kettle, refrigerator, stove top, and toaster oven were all 3 floors down in the shared kitchen. The location of the hotel in the old section of Ciutadella is perfect.

There was no TV anywhere. Since I was the only person in the hotel I could have done with a little TV company :-)

This place is a true little gem tucked away in Ciutadella’s old town. It feels more like staying in a thoughtfully curated Airbnb than a hotel, with cooking and laundry facilities, a communal living room, and a charming patio. Guests can help themselves to coffee and a lovely selection of loose-leaf teas, adding to the relaxed, homely vibe. The location couldn’t be better—right behind the stunning cathedral, with all of Ciutadella’s best sights, shops, and restaurants just steps away. The owner has really thought of everything, from beach sarongs and parasols to handy cooler backpacks, making days out by the sea effortless. My room was cleverly designed, with a spacious feel and even a bath, which was a real treat. It also seems to draw a wonderful crowd; every guest I met during my stay was warm and friendly. I would absolutely recommend HoMe and will definitely be returning the next time I’m on the island. Thank you, Josep—hope to see you again soon!

The only small downsides are worth mentioning for future guests. Rooms facing the street can be a little noisy—understandable given the Old Town location with its lively bars and restaurants. Light sleepers may notice it, though the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8:30am, which might feel late for early risers. An earlier option, even from 7:30am, would make it perfect. I didn’t get to try it myself as I was already out exploring, but would have loved the chance to sample the local delicacies Josep prepares each morning.

The room and tiny breakfast offer was overpriced. The shower was open to room with no separating wall which made you feel you're sleeping in a shower; moreover, after taking shower half a room was flooding. No TV in room.
