Hotel Cas Ferrer Monjo

Hotel Cas Ferrer is exceptional in every way. It is newly renovated, tasteful and elegant without being pretentious, and super comfortable. The owner, a really lovely man, has thought of every detail, from the light-blocking curtains to the coffee maker. The hotel is in also in a perfect location, close to all of Cituadella's fantastic restaurants and coffee shops. He went above and beyond, giving us eclipse glasses, which he had somehow thought of obtaining early before the town ran out, and making sure we found a taxi and didn't struggle with luggage (two women, and I always overpack). The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and although pristinely renovated, the building also has a wonderful history. I fell in love with Cituadella, and feeling taken care of by the owner and his family - a family that has owned this building for generations - was a big part of the reason.

Brand new boutique hotel with just a few rooms right in the middle of wonderful Ciutadella old town. Nice restoration integrated with the old city walls made from that beautiful Menorca stone. Short walks to the market, port and all the fun. I was one of the first guests and worked remote for a few days in between swims and tapas. Comfortable bed, robust air conditioning and a nice shower. And extremely nice people! I'd happily return.
