Duomo Suite

We really liked the location. Although it was a little noisier than we had hoped, the atmosphere of the old city was wonderful and made up for it. The property manager was always available and responded to our requests very quickly, which we greatly appreciated. The beds were comfortable, and the temperature control in the apartment worked very well. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as the two umbrellas and the vacuum cleaner, which was very useful for cleaning up sand after a day at the beach.

Unfortunately, a few items were not working properly or were broken when we arrived, including the electric kettle, the dishwasher, and one of the umbrellas. However, after we informed the manager, a replacement kettle and umbrella were provided promptly, which we appreciated. We would also like to mention that the entrance to the bathroom through one of the bedrooms was quite inconvenient. Some interior details were also quite worn out and could be replaced to improve the overall impression of the apartment.

AMAZING location, the amazing duomo bar was literally right downstairs (great coffee, they have oat milk as well), any restaurant we went to visit was less than a 5 minute walk away, the beach was less than 10 minutes by foot and was beautiful. Would definitely recommend Cefalú and this apartment.

Lägenheten ligger mitt i smeten, på gott och ont. Det är mycket människor, livligt och stökigt. Det är nära till torget, katedralen och turistgatorna. Fyra ordentliga sängar, stort kök som är fullutrustat. Tvättmaskin och torkställning. Man kan sitta på balkongerna och titta på processioner och folkvimlet.

Ljudnivån från gatan gick inte att välja bort. Dragspelare till 24:00 utanför balkongen någon dag. Konsten i lägenheten är generisk. Trycket i duschen.

The location is fabulous (right x from the duomo / main piazza) and the apartment is spacious. I believe the host has more than one property on the same floor. We rented a unit for four people which consisted of two bedrooms (queen bed in one; two twins in the other), kitchen (quite large with a small sofa in it) and a bathroom.

We rented in May, and this was the most expensive (by far) of the other apartments we stayed at on this trip. There are a lot of stairs to reach the room which feels "deep" into the building - oddly you go up and down - and I am pretty claustrophobic! - and the room had an "unfresh" / "smoky" smell. It's definitely a large apartment, and in a great location. There are 2 balconies on the street that were a great perch to watch people below, and the washing machine was great, but otherwise, I might keep searching to be honest. The AC did not cool, and keeping the doors open means noise all night. (Even if passers by are not loud, you are right above the street level and will hear every conversation). Mostly, while it was spacious, it was not comfortable. Showers were not refreshing, one morning we woke up to brown water (I learned later that Cefalu water is not good), and I looked forward to leaving. Also note the location is in a ZTL area, and so depending on your drop off/ride, you may need to walk (and drag bags) to get there).
