La Chiocciola Apartment

Es war sehr schön! Super Lage, alles sauber, Daniele war sehr nett bei der Einweisung und hat alles gut erklärt (Heizung, Empfehlung von Restaurants). Wenn man sich an die Bettdecke gewöhnt hat - dann war die auch super !!

The La Chiocciola Apartment is newly renovated and very comfortable. It has a nice kitchen and a new washing machine. The bedroom has a balcony the opens to the one of the main shopping streets in the old downtown of Cefalù, so the apartment is close to all the fun things to do. The location is exceptional as literally all of the historical, cultural, food and shopping activities are within walking distance. The Host is very gracious, and speaks excellent English. He was very helpful in general, and for booking taxis for our longer excursions at reasonable rates.

The flip side of being in the middle of everything is that it can be a little noisy, especially the garbage trucks that come by early in the morning. Also, the stairway up the apartment is narrow and steep, so bringing luggage up and down was a challenge, but easily overcome.

Excellent central location, great services in the area, the apartment itself is very well finished and Daniel is an excellent host.

Great central location

Small badly laid out apartment with no where for us to go once we put the children to bed. Plus you could easily hear the guests in the adjoining apartment through the thin door that separates the two apartments. Children's beds not comfortable.
