CEFALUX - Tramonto sul Mare

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento e, nel complesso, ci siamo trovati bene. La posizione è davvero fantastica, con una vista mozzafiato che rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. L’appartamento è molto bello con una cucina grande e spaziosa! La posizione con vista sul Mare è da sogno.

Purtroppo, però, siamo rimasti delusi dei bagni un po passati nel tempo, e della loro pulizia soprattutto la doccia, era molto sporco. Dietro le ante della doccia si è accumulato sporco ormai nero, segno che probabilmente quella zona non viene pulita accuratamente da tempo. È un peccato, perché una casa così bella meriterebbe una pulizia all’altezza dell’appartamento.

The views from the apartment balcony & windows are unparalleled!! Wow! You climb 2 flights of steep stairs to get to the unit & when you do, you’ll be blown away by this space! The apartment is so spacious, and the kitchen & living room were wonderful. There are 3 toilets & 2 showers, so it’s huge! Unfortunately the mattresses were very uncomfortable but the couch is xxl & both of us could sleep comfortably on it! We loved having morning hot tea & afternoon wine on the balcony, I miss it so much & was a highlight of our trip. Again, the views from the balcony make it all worth it :) the host was very responsive & we had a great stay! I would live here!!

The mattresses are super hard, but the couches were sooo comfy.

The views are spectacular and the apartment is very spacious.

The bed in the upstairs room could be updated. It’s not comfortable and we had three nights.

Very good stay overall. The location is hard to beat: everything in Cefalù is within a short walk, which made things much easier with a young child. The view from the flat is breathtaking, and the place is well equipped with everything you need for a family stay.

A few things kept it from being perfect. The apartment shows its age in places, with old stains and grubby windows on the glazed balcony, which is a real shame given that view. In the downstairs bedroom, there is a gap between the mattress and the headboard, so the pillows keep slipping behind the bed during the night. The water pressure was also weak, which was frustrating after a day at the beach. For the price, we expected a bit better. Still worth recommending for the location and the view, but these details are worth knowing beforehand.
