Floors felt a bit strange- maybe the soap used to mop? I just wore the slippers and it was fine.

Loved it

Great resort! Beautiful scenery, our room was nice and clean and having a private pool made it feel so special. Staff were very nice and accommodating, the breakfast was good and we had dinner which was also lovely. We didn't realise that it's about an hour to Ubud, but we ended up enjoying the quiet after exploring the town :)

Nice but lacked a lot many better places within walking distance

We had the whole villa it was nice. I just think the entertainment could be a tad better it was dead. Relaxed but not even a little music in the background. We walked about 500m and spent most the time at another place a lot more better

Entertainment lacked… staff were polite but didn’t really care as much as others I’ve been to in Bali. Lovely suprise for my birthday though this they did make a effort. We also were charged for a moped we didn’t even hire. But they dropped this as we stated we didn’t use a moped had a driver.

Beautiful, amazing place that I would visit again!

Beautiful location, nice breakfast and dinner options. Peaceful and quiet. Very kind staff and great prices. If you don't want lots of tourists around you and most important peace, quiet and relaxation then this resort is definitely for you! The rooms were also very big and clean.

I stayed in this hotel 6 nights. The resort was magnificent with a wonderful view on the jungle.

The offered breakfasts are very divers and delicious. The room was very comfortable, well equiped with high class bathroom, a nice private pool and a wonderful view from the balcony. As they knew it was my wife's birthday, the staff there surprised us with a nice celebration and a birthday cake. Me and my wife really appreciated the resort and we recommend it for sure !

I got exactly what I was looking for — a quiet retreat with lush green views. Truly enjoyed my stay.

Positive: Breakfast was good and adequate — they even offered in-room delivery if you’re too tired to climb all the stairs. The jungle view from the room was stunning, and the location itself was so tranquil and peaceful. All the staff were very kind and attentive, and the room as well as the surrounding area were always clean. Bugs and geckos are normal here, but that’s expected when you’re surrounded by nature.

Needs Improvement: It would be better if they replaced plastic water bottles with refillable glass ones. A soap tray would be helpful — I was worried that placing soap directly on the wooden table might damage it. For rooms with a private pool, providing pool towels should be standard. I stayed in room 906 — the bathroom could use more shade for added privacy.

Campuhan Sebatu Resorts totally stole our hearts! From the moment we bounced through the gates, the reception team greeted us with big smiles and contagious energy — and housekeeping and F&B? Absolute rock stars, always upbeat and ready to help. Our room with a private pool was the perfect personal touch — pure bliss to dip in anytime with total privacy. Stepping onto the grounds felt like a joyful leap back into nature: birds singing, rustling leaves, and the gentle rush from the nearby waterfall made every moment blissful. The rice fields are picture-perfect, and the location couldn’t be better — just a quick 16-minute drive to the rice terraces and Monkey Forest for fun day trips. We left buzzing with happiness and already counting down the days until we return!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay pleasant. The view from the room was beautiful and definitely a highlight. Overall, a nice stay with great staff and lovely views, but with room for improvement in facilities and services.

We did experience some issues with the Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as they didn’t always work properly. The food at the hotel was okay, but not outstanding, and the massage service could be improved.

Incredible!

The room was beautiful, large and clean. The dinner was lovely, we had a floating breakfast which looked great but didn’t taste as great. The whole hotel is beautiful, we had a couples massage in the spa which is an incredible outside spa with amazing views. The hotel is a little out of the way (about 40 minutes from Ubud) but we didn’t mind as it really was beautiful. The staff were absolutely lovely, so kind and helpful, they really went above and beyond. They were so attentive. The room service was always quick, and I even got given a souvenir as a thank you when we left.

Beautiful location near the forest and between rice fields. Clean and friendly staff. 6 euro a day for a motorbike with good quality roads connected. A lot of choices for breakfast.

We had the deluxe room which were in our case 4 rooms next to each other. So not completely privacy (baby next door). If I would come back I would take the private pool rooms.

Beautiful stay at one with nature

It's a beautiful location right in the rice paddies and rain forest - you can go to sleep with the sound of nature in your ears, and I think my nights there were the best sleep I ever had. They also have a really good driver willing to show you around the local area on all the tours. He gave a lot of great information about Bali, the culture and the places, and took some great pictures of me and the wife.. The dinner menu was small, but the food was excellent. And the breakfast was amazing. All in all a really amazing place to spend a few days.. Oh and don't forget the fireflies lighting up the rice field by the restaurant!

For me it's no problems, but if you go to nature, nature will come to you - watch out if you don't like bugs and creepy crawlies We are off season, so the swimming pool was a bit dirty, but tbh I didn't really use it and it didn't detract at all.:

Great room with balcony and lovely staff

Air - conditioned room with a balcony, which had nice views. Huge bathroom with bath and shower, large room with extra large and comfy bed. The restaurant has nice food and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

We had the room at the very bottom of the resort, which meant 90 steps up to reception / restaurant and 90 steps back to our room. We did not realize that it was so far from Ubud - a 30 minute drive.

Authentic but modern at the same time

Everything here was amazing, just exactly what we were looking for… However not every staff member speaks good english, but still they were the kindest souls, helped us in anything anytime. I also got a bag from them as a gift in the last day which absolutely made my day! It was not located in the tourist area, which made our stay pretty relaxing after the long tours we did… you can only hear the animals from the jungle from your balcony, we loved it! I especially recommend it instead of Ubud center, if you would like to go to the north and east part of Bali as well, because you can avoid Ubud’s traffic. The shared pool is also fantastic, facing to the jungle, clean and quiet, just like the rooms. Breakfast and dinner was also pretty good, especially the smoothie bowl, creamy pasta and the chicken wings, but to be honest there was no meal that we didn’t like.

Maybe the staff could improve their english a little bit, but they are doing an amazing job anyways! Also, be prepared for the steep steps to some room and the public pool, but staff are helping with the luggages and the steps with the flowers are so worth it, so I cannot say anything bad! :)))

we loved campuhan sebatu resort. the staff were amazing and made me and my wife feel like family. the rooms were clean and had amazing views over the jungle. Tuyul does a free morning walk which took us to the waterfall not far from hotel. what a great way to start the day. bread easy over liking the rice fields outstanding. Balinese massages over looking the jungle. I really could go in and on. the region is very spiritual and I must say leaving left a tear in my eye. I hope to be back very soon while travelling around Bali.

Beautiful place surrounded by rice fields and the tropical forest. It's very peaceful, you only hear natural sounds. The staff is exceptional, attentive to every request, they made us feel at home. We had breakfast and dinner at the resort and the food was also good and carefully prepared. We couldn't find a better place than this! Thanks for the great stay!
