Amazing relaxing stay at Arvanya Villa Ubud

Beautiful calm and quiet place, away from the bustling cities. We had booked a room with a private pool. The room was huge with a good size bathroom with a bathtub with all the amenities you need including pool towels and some robes. The room was cleaned everyday if you asked for it. The pool was nice and clean and the place had a nice view as well. If you need quiet and relaxing holiday this is the place for you. Easy to book grab or gojek from this place to travel around or can hire a scooter if you wish to ride yourselves around. Recommendation - Use grab instead of gojek, you will get your food and ride faster as it charges slightly more than gojek.

It was disappointing to find out that the place did not have a restaurant, but it was mentioned that they did have a restaurant and room service at the time of booking. The restaurant they mentioned was 2 kms away from the hotel, you could order from them and they would deliver to your room. We did not try that out but, it was easy to order food off grab which delivered food from the restaurants.

Extremely disappointing — noisy and misleading listing

Unfortunately, our stay at Arvanya Villa was a huge disappointment. One very important detail was not mentioned in the listing: there is a busy road running right next to the villa. The traffic noise was constant and very loud throughout the day and night. We had no chance to relax by the pool due to the noise, which completely ruined our holiday experience. The photos and descriptions created the impression of a peaceful, jungle-view retreat — but in reality, the setting was the opposite. We feel this is a serious lack of transparency, and honestly, it was extremely disrespectful to withhold such an important detail. We came for peace and relaxation, but instead were stressed and unable to rest. We would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation.

Was ok , but not perfect.

The property was clean, and we were greeted with bath flowers as a gesture of reward for the maintenance work that took place that day. The staff was friendly and available both day and night. Good location to visit around Tagalalang.

On our first day, we found a large spider in our room. The staff on-site came and removed it. On the second night, we found a gecko on the wall, and again, the staff came to remove it. We had a buffet with snacks and drinks in the room, and it was only on the last day that we found out it had to be paid for. We also requested a Balinese massage session. The price displayed was one amount, but the final bill was higher , the reason was ,,taxes’’.

The location was perfect to explore the center of ubud and the area around Monkey forest.

The area was scenic the people were friendly and accommodating.

Lizards, bugs and spiders crept into the villa a few times. I’m not a fan of bugs and there was a frog stuck in the air conditioning that made noise all night on top of the other wildlife at night.

Beautiful Private Villa

The whole villa was beautifully designed and very asthetic. Location was easy to find though it's far from main Ubud area good to stay away from crowd.

The staff even though we're helpful, they struggle to speak in English. Very difficult to communicate and make them understand. Very limited breakfast option and not as good as what other stays provide for the cost they charge.

Geweldig

Mooie, nieuwe privé villa, alles goed geregeld. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en super behulpzaam. Regelen een scooter voor je als het nodig is. Heerlijk rustig. Perfecte uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te ontdekken.

Iets verder van Ubud, maar met een taxi of scooter goed te doen en wel heerlijk rustig.

Уютная небольшая вилла, мало людей, практически нет трафика на дороге. Хорошо подходит для отдыха от города. Хороший ремонт. Персонал предложил арендовать байк прямо у них. Насекомых минимум.

Нет возможности полноценно покушать, завтраки скудные и не всегда есть блюда из меню. Но в 15-20 минутах на байке можно найти ресторан.
