Perfect for time away from the city.

The setup is very easy and beautifully done, truly feels like a private villa (own door with key into the little compound). The staff are amazing. The greenery around the pool is also very well done. The bed and pillows are very comfortable! The shower + bathtub combo is perfect.

The sliding door had a gap / space on the bottom which I’m guessing is how our co-resident the gecko got in and could be a concern for other creatures. Luckily the mat at the end of the bed fits perfectly and creates a decent barrier.

I loved everything about the location — it’s super quiet and very slow. This villa is exactly what my boyfriend and I needed. It was just a bit far from everything else so it was hard to get around. Thankfully, grab can pick us up and drop us off so it wasn’t too bad! I also loved the pool & the breakfast— I highly recommend the nasi goreng!!!

The best staff and a nice getaway.

Quiet location. Hotel was out of Ubud but were happy to arrange taxi pick up and drop off if requested. Villa was clean and tidy, breakfast was lovely. Staff are the nicest people we have ever met and would always check in on how our stay was. Price is so reasonable and value for money was unbelievable. Andi and Nadia and all the other staff were the best and I really recommend staying here for a nice relaxing and quiet stay in nature and the beautiful Bali. Great for heading a bit more north on the island or heading to ricefields and nearby temples.

Pit and Nadia were so friendly and accommodating and made us feel like we’ve known each other for years!

This was the most beautiful villa! It was a bit far from Ubud centre but it was nice to get a break from the busy city centre! The villa was private, very clean and the staff (Pit and Nadia) were exceptional! If you want to be close to the rice terraces and have a peaceful stay, I would not hesitate to stay at Kaki Uma! It was our favourite accommodation in our 3 week trip!

Great value for money private villas

The villas were spacious, clean and new. The plunge pools were lovely and the setting in the rice fields is idyllic. Staff were friendly and easygoing and provided us with adequate info on the area. And prepared a lovely breakfast too. Incredible value for money overall.

There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom (that some others have mentioned) and some villas don’t have an open view at all (and feel a bit enclosed; number 4 and especially 3). Try to book 1 or 2. Quite some construction going on so not sure how long Sebatu will keep that bucolic feel.

Friendly staff Clean and tidy room

Not something they can control but there was a construction site nearby for some more villas. The sound of hammering and drilling nearby therefore meant I did not use the outdoor area much. Even when inside, I used my nose cancelling headphones to block out the noise.

The tile on the deck was too slick when wet and very dangerous for slip and fall accidents (which nearly happened to me). Should be replaced with textured, non-slip tiles.

The perfect place to slow down and unwind.

Our spacious villa came with its own private pool and stunning views of lush rice fields in every direction. Lazy mornings began with a delicious breakfast on the terrace, and evenings ended with dinner at a charming nearby restaurant—followed by moonlit walks home, serenaded by frogs in the fields. The views are classic Bali: vibrant rice terraces, working farmers, and the soft rhythm of nature all around. The staff was absolutely wonderful—so kind and welcoming.

One of the Best Hotels We’ve Stayed at in Bali Kaki Hotel was truly one of the best places we’ve stayed during our trip to Bali. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. I want to give a special mention to Doni, Nadya, Pit, Andi, and Suksma—an amazing team who were always smiling, friendly, and happy to help. Even after we checked out, they walked with us to our taxi and waved us off, which was such a warm and touching gesture. The location is perfect for those looking for peace and relaxation. Morning walks through the rice fields and being surrounded by nature made our stay extra special. In terms of value for money, Kaki Hotel is a great choice compared to many others. The villa was spacious and beautifully designed. I had shared that we were celebrating our anniversary, and they went above and beyond by decorating the bathtub with flowers. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back again and again. Thank you, Kaki Hotel, for an unforgettable experience. Thank you

Modern Villa with Traditional Charm and Privacy

Kaki Uma Villa is a beautiful, new set of villas right next to a rice field. There was a ticking noise from a wind clapper in the field, which added a peaceful, natural feel to the space. The pool was clean and fun to swim in, even in the sudden pouring rain. The bathroom and bedroom were both very large, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were great and respectful of privacy. They would WhatsApp before coming in if needed, which we appreciated. The koi fish at the front were cute. Cleaning was prompt and discrete, and four water bottles were provided daily, which was a nice touch. Breakfast had three choices—American, continental, and Indonesian. All were tasty and came with a smoothie or fresh fruit, plus coffee or tea. It was delivered at your requested time in the morning. They also have a very convenient and cheap laundry service. There are several good restaurants in the area that can be walked to—we’d suggest bringing a flashlight if you’re out after dark. We would definitely come back!!

Minor notes that didn't affect our stay: The bathroom had an occasional smell from the sewage system, but it went away quickly. Ideally, the shower could have been cleaner, as it filled up on our first day, but the staff did attempt to rectify it quickly, even if it was only partially fixed. The shower and tub were also a bit awkward to use since the soap and shampoo were placed by the sink instead of inside the shower area. Your neighbors in the other villas might affect the experience. On our last morning, the neighboring guests were loud and playing music, but the rest of the time it was extremely peaceful and very quiet.

Excelente y amable servicio. Está un poco alejado del centro de Ubud pero gracias a eso consigues tranquilidad y privacidad, además de conocer un nuevo polo de desarrollo en Bali. A pesar de la distancia, no es difícil conseguir taxi o Grab para desplazarse. El desayuno es muy contundente, la pieza y baño muy amplios, con vista a un arrozal. Cama muy cómoda y limpieza impecable. Está cerca de nuevos restaurantes y un spa, todos muy recomendables. Tienen venta de cervezas, delivery de comidas si no quieres salir de tu habitación y servicio de lavandería por un precio bastante conveniente. Sin duda volveríamos!

Zorg en bertroklenheid personeel. Stelden alles in het werk ons ten dienste te zijn. Super vriendelijk. De stelling blijf niet op een plaats in Bali ging niet op. We hebben veel trips ondernomen en na zo' n trip thuis komen was dan super.

La pulizia. Ci aspettavamo di trovare degli insetti e dei gechi a Bali, ma non dei topi. Purtroppo il giardino, nonostante fosse molto bello, era pieno di topi essendo vicino alla campagna, cosa che ha penalizzato molto il nostro soggiorno e non ci ha permesso di sfruttare il giardino, né di dormire sonni tranquilli perché avevamo paura che entrassero in stanza. Purtroppo ci si aspetta che da una struttura di alto livello con un prezzo molto alto questi problemi vengano risolti immediatamente invece non è stato così .

Villa stupenda ma distante da Ubud

Le ville sono bellissime, curate in ogni dettaglio. Affacciano tutte sulle risaie del villaggio di Sebatu. Lo staff super gentilissimo e sempre pronto ad aiutare, abbiamo usufruito di molti servizi come lavanderia, noleggio scooter, driver. La colazione buonissima, viene preparata dallo staff e portata direttamente nella villa, si può scegliere tra salato e dolce. Letto super comodo, le pulizie vengono fatte ogni giorno col cambio degli asciugamani. Bagno super, con doccia capiente e vasca da bagno. Nonostante la posizione, nei dintorni della villa ci sono diversi ristoranti da provare ed anche centri massaggi. Nota positiva anche la tranquillità del posto, lontano dal traffico.

La posizione non è centralissima, si trova vicino alle risaie di Tegallalang e quindi non vicinissimo a Ubud. Serve decisamente un mezzo o driver per muoversi (tenete conto circa 30-40 minuti di motorino per arrivare a Ubud, su strade sconnesse). Non è molto comodo se si hanno pochi giorni a disposizione. Noi comunque uscivamo la mattina presto e si rientrava la sera dopo cena, quindi la villa l'abbiamo purtroppo vissuta poco e senza avere l'occasione di usare la piscina dato che non era caldo.
