all in all, a good stay, we got good value, even without the benefits of an overhead shower.

Great location super close to the beach and Broadwalk. Very comfortable bed, and all was clean. Fridge in room was nice and quiet. A/C in good shape. The kitchen equipment was older but all worked fine. There could have been a little more equipment (only two knives, two forks, etc.) and the frying pan should really be replaced. However, the water was good and warm, and all was as described (except for the bikes).

Other than receiving the code for the apartment easily, we had a hard time communicating with the host. In the description we saw that they offered bikes, but they didn't. The office was mostly abandoned, no one to talk to. The door mechanism was not easy to figure out, we managed to figure out the opening eventually (arriving at 10:30pm) but not the locking of it from the outside. A random person only speaking Spanish was kind enough to help us figure it out. Not sure he was even affiliated with the hotel in any way. The next day we overheard other guests teaching each other how the door mechanism worked. We also never figured out how to make the water come out of the shower head, only the bathtub faucet. We could not find a single soul to speak English to us. The cleaning staff only spoke Spanish but was gone by the time I had my sentence together in Spanish. It seems as though just a few more explanations would have gone a long way, as well as a bit more staff presence. Removing the claim of bicycles from the description would be more upstanding.

The location was great to the restaurants and beach ⛱️ I've visited Hollywood beach a few times so I always enjoy my time

So the room was small on the ground floor corner apt. Dislike was the bathroom needs a face life the only thing new was the sink. The walk in closet Needs better lighting and paint job. The deco was nice bed was comfortable. They can put a new stove it was old and outdated rusty too the floors were nice Ac is worked well.

Don't discriminate the needs of American veterans

It's very close to Hollywood Beach boardwalk

Loud kids outside, but the facility couldn't do anything about it. Extremely small space, and they acted like they were doing me a favor after discriminating my service animal. So much for being a veteran when I get discriminated against for needing my service animal with me. I want to remind you that service animals are covered by the FHA

Beautiful stay at Tropic Isle

The property is located literally a few feet away from the beach and Hollywood boardwalk. Mr. Wilfredo and Mr. Mateo were professional, kind and accommodating. Upon hearing that I was visiting for a special anniversary with my wife they made us feel appreciated and welcome with nice perks. The rooms themselves were clean, and everything worked as it should. A full kitchen was provided with a standard size fridge, stove, coffer maker, microwave, utensils and pot and pans. Beach towels were also available in the room. Beach chairs were also accessible in the parking area. All in all a great trip thanks to the kind and professional staff and the room itself (clean, practical and perfectly located) Thank you Mr. Wilfredo & Mr. Mateo! God bless, Konstantinos

The location is amazing. The only good thing.

The manager duped me and gave me a lesser and smaller room than the one I booked and paid for. The amenities they claimed / listed were not all available. The manager was difficult to reach if you had a problem. Many things were broken - the stove top two burners didn’t work in the back to where randomly working & bugs on stove. The TV remote was broken. I had to use a fork to try to use it, and the batteries were taped on the back and the bed was horrible sqeaked if you touched it. And wobbled if you roll over. Also, Wi-Fi wouldn’t stay connected not reliable

Excellent location, less than a block from the beach. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, helping us with all our needs and questions! The room was very clean and comfortable for two people. Keep in mind… it’s not a five-star hotel and could use some renovations, but the value for money and location are unbeatable. I highly recommend it!

Literally a 2-minute walk to the beach. Food readily nearby. Had a full size fridge and mini stove and sink. You could park your car literally right outside your door.

My window blind wouldn't completely shut and had to hang a towel over the door Edge and close the door for complete privacy. Bathroom do not have a ventilation fan however it did have a window but of course if the beach in Florida so it's hot out 85% of the time. They were only eight parking spots but yet they were 12 Vehicles issued a parking pass. So late one night while coming back to the apartment I had to park on the side street and paying additional $30 for roughly 6 hours of parking after I've already paid to park at the hotel. Pictures made wrong look way bigger than it actually was. Paying extra for the terrorist but I did not know it literally meant that two tables sitting right outside the hotel as you enter.

We like this hotel a lot

The property manager was very nice. He helped us a lot. We got easy check-in and check-out. He always fulfilled our needs. We got a good car parking spot. The room was clean. We felt comfortable and relaxed. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is just next to the beach. To restaurants, a one-minute walk distance only. This hotel is so good.

Great location, clean, room to improve

The pros: The location was great. The unit, Unit 9, was clean. It had comfortable bedding and towels. It also had key pad entry which is convenient (no key or card to be concerned with). The manager on duty, Will, was pleasant and helpful. Uber is an easy way to get around.

The cons: - No hair dryer - description said there would be one - No smoke detector was evident (not sure if it's a requirement here, but it should have one.) - Three pillows look nice when setup, but 4 pillows for 2 people would be more comfortable - Two hangers are not enough - This unit has a round toilet bowl with a toilet seat intended for any elongated (oval) bowel. Not the most pleasant of seating experiences. - Never got a response to 3 separate questions posted via the booking.com app (which said replies were usually within 24 hours)

Nothing, mosquitoes in room,holes in walls, windows patched up,bathroom dirty,old furniture,floor was filthy and oven still had last persons crumbs inside it.Worst hotel I have ever stayed in,discusting place.

Pleasant

The location was fantastic and the full kitchen was exactly what we were after. Big fridge with freezer, cooker, microwave, utensils etc.

The rooms were meant to be cleaned every 3 days which they were initially, but after being cleaned on Monday we asked on the Thursday but the housekeeper said she wasn’t coming any more days and to ask the man at front desk if we wanted service but it was his day off and the office was closed. We departed the following Sunday without any more cleaning. The property does need updating and renovating and not really like the pictures. I was fine with that but it is misleading for some that are really bothered by something like that.

The beach was great and seeing our family was good but inexpensive never again-

No breakfast available

It could have been clean --it was dirty and old --kitchen falling apart, refrigerator no ice maker or ice or ice trays, roaches and will never do that again. There was a wall receptacle that was hanging off the wall and had a serge protector plugged in with about 6 different plugs in it a real fire hazard. What I do not get was the reviews were really good on Booking.com someone needs to explain that to me.

It is not as seen in the photos The was too small, its not like the pictures, they don't provide hand soap, shampoo, etc., etc. The bathroom was dirty, the shower was clogged, the kitchen utensils, was too old, they don't clean it the room in the days that I stay
