Host & Stay - Oldcorn Cottage

A very nice well presented property with everything you could possibly need in an absolutely perfect location

The location was amazing, it was really close to everything but was just far enough to not be loud. It has a very homely vibe with lots of cute decorations. The shower is amazing, it is huge and has great pressure, which is necessary after a day at the beach.

I am sure many air bnbs are the same but I think recycling should be binned separately but this did not seem to be the case. The bed we stayed in was extremely soft so may need replacing at some point.

Comfortable and well appointed. Particularly like the inclusion of a washing machine as we completed various physical activities during our trip so it was nice to home with clean kit.

The bathroom is on the floor below the bedrooms. This would not normally be a problem but we'd cycled 150 miles on the day of arrival so it was a bit uncomfortable getting there during the night.

Close proximity to everything we wanted to do and see in Whitby. It is a cosy maisonette. Yes, there are entrance stairs. The beds were comfy. Had everything we required.

Very unfortunately, the air B and B on the ground floor was very noisy at night till the early hours.The company were very supportive and I am sure it is a EXTREMELY RARE occurrence but 3 nights of very little sleep had a huge impact on our holiday. The noise travelled up the chimney. It did not affect the front bedroom. Just the living room and back bedroom. Parking was a big issue. The lane where it is recommended to park would mean you would get blocked in. We ended up having to pay 12 pounds per 24 hours down at the dock, and even then, finding a space was hard.
