Harbortown Hideaway

This nautical wonder of a property is nestled in a quiet street near the sea. Its position is a bit like finding chocolate you hid last Christmas then forgot. As a Brit the lack of a kettle was a shock right up until I gave myself a good talking too and remembered I was in America and had no right to demand such trivialities. So I got on with boiling the water in a saucepan and enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, the very comfortable enormous bed and the heating system that warmed the entire house in a few minutes. This place was cleaner than a frogs armpit and tastefully furnished in New England memorabilia. With amble clothes storage and multiple TV channels you could easily forget that the sea is just a short stroll away. I didn’t actually go in the sea you understand as it looked colder than an Eskimos outhouse but the thought was there. So if you’re looking for a little getaway perfectly placed to discover New England in a lovely Massachusetts style town with boutique shops and restaurants then this place is highly recommended. And I’m over the lack of a kettle, honestly.

Beautifully maintained home with all the great amenities and space needed for a summer vacation! Very convenient to all the great local spots, ferries and beaches!

Die Nähe zum Strand und auch zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die gepflegte Anlage und Umgebung, die Ruhe (Nebensaison).

Es gab keinen Fön und trotz mehrfache Nachfrage und der Aussage, wir würden einen Fön gebracht bekommen, wurde er nicht geliefert. Die Art der Kommunikation war nicht so überzeugend.

Das Haus war hervorragend eingerichtet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war ausgezeichnet, in einer gehobenen Wohngegend. Alles war sehr sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten genügent Badetücher, genügend Tücher im Bad. Die Küche war mit genügend Besteck und Geschirr und Kochutensilien ausgestattet. Es war ruhig und draussen im Garten konnten wir uns richtig erholen. Sogar die kleinen Hasen haben uns jeden Abend besucht. Wir sind restlos glücklich! Vielen Dank, gerne ein nächstes Mal wieder.

Trotzdem fanden wir den Preis für vier Nächte am oberen Limit! Wir waren aber trotzdem restlos zufrieden.
