About this house rental
We affectionately call this house 'The Falmouth Local,' as it sits in the heart of beautiful Falmouth, within short walking distance to the quaint Main Street shops, delectable restaurants, fish markets, entertainment like bowling and axe-throwing (!), and is a short drive to Woods Hole and many of the Cape's most breathtaking beaches along the coast. Views of Martha's Vineyard on a clear day abound, and if you're into island hopping, the ferry is only a stone's throw!
The house sits on a generous corner lot with lots of outdoor space, and sunny, private hangout spots. The brand new kitchen is the heart of the home and connects to comfortable & modern living spaces, where you can cozy up with a book or lounge together. The location and character of this property make it an enjoyable destination for visitors year-round! First floor laundry room and one of two full baths are located right off the entry for convenience.
Relax and unwind on the new patio or around the fire-pit after a day at the beach. Scurry across the street to Cape Cod Bagel when the first wafts of delicious bagels fill the air in the morning. Or venture over to the Shining Sea bikeway to get some exercise or take a leisurely ride on the extensive bike paths that connect to North and West Falmouth, all the way down to Woods Hole.

This house is a completely, very attractively renovated old Cape Cod home set on a large corner lot with trees and shrubs shielding it from busy Jones Road. Our 3 generation family of 9 enjoyed gathering in the brightly lit, roomy kitchen/dining area for preparing our meals, watching movies together in the living room and enjoying the patio for cookouts. The extra long picnic table and benches accommodated all of us comfortably! All the beds had comfy mattresses and the quiet window air conditioners kept the home cool during hot, humid days. The great new outdoor shower was appreciated by all the beachgoers…as were the 4 new beach chairs and beach towels. The indoor shower heads and controls were easy to operate and enjoyed by all. The convenient new Washer and Drier were put to good use. It was great to have the garage to store our bikes, have the use of 3 of the owner’s bikes, plus ample parking in the driveway for each of the 3 families’ cars.We knew going in that this house was probably going to be a tight fit. Each of the 3 couples had ample room in their Queen/King Bedrooms, but the 4th “Bonus Room” would probably be more suitable for a family with young children. Our 3 teen grandchildren were cramped…but it was a nice surprise to find a “full size” twin mattress under the Bunk Beds! And the proximity of the beautiful Shining Sea Bike Path was something they and their parents absolutely loved using everyday!Anika was a most responsive and welcoming host!

Good location for the ferries and easy to get around the area. Nice large outside area. Unfortunately it is on a busy main road and we were kept awake by a lot of traffic noise. We appreciated the high chair and the bedroom set up for families.

Nice clean home, comfortable furniture, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of amenities within walking distance.It was quite close to the main road which was great for getting about but may be an issue for light sleepers. Overall a pleasant stay.

Had a great Easter weekend with family! House was convenient to downtown and very comfortable. Backyard was so nice for the grandkids to run around! Anika was very helpful and quick to respond to questions.
