Excellent Stay – Clean, Comfortable, and Perfectly Located

We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable with great pillows, which made for a really restful night. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station and within walking distance of major landmarks like the Colosseum. It was incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The host, Daniele, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He took the time to share great recommendations for places to visit, eat, and explore in the city, which made a big difference in our trip. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant experience. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome!

Exactly what we wanted for our short stay in Rome.

Property location, cleanliness and charm of the old building - while still having comfortably modern room. The location is far enough from the main attractions that it wasn’t too busy around the area, but close enough that we could walk everywhere comfortably even in the heat. We loved everything about our stay.

The Roman Way Opera is such a special place to stay when you are in Rome. Everything was exceptional including communication with Daniele, the location, the cleanliness, the welcome you receive from Elli when checking in, the food recommendations, the special gift at the end of the stay - all of it was excellent. The room was so quaint and clean. I did not want to leave. I recommend Roman Way Opera to anyone who is looking for for a special place to stay in Rome. You will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to return to this hotel.

The property had a lovely character and was very clean. The room and bathroom had plenty of room. The towels etc were replaced every day. Great to have a coffee maker and pods supplied. The air conditioning was very good and it was great to have a smart tv. The location was convenient.

It is perfect in every sense- location, comfort, cleanliness. Daniele communicated timely so we knew all we needed to know before the arrival and provided us with useful information about local bars and restaurants. I would heartily recommend it to my friends.

Excellent Host and Fabulous Apartments

My family which consisted of three generations, had a short stay in Rome at The Roman Way. Our host, Daniele was exceptional from before we arrived until the last of our family departed! He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! These apartments were perfect for our family of 6 - we had our own rooms with private bathrooms however with the communal area, it was a fabulous place we could meet and spend time together. It was an easy walk from the apartments to delicious restaurants, train station and other areas. We visited other areas by uber or on lime bikes and found it easy to get around.

Lovely place to stay, a small intimate hotel, almost more like a serviced apartment

Everything - absolutely loved the quirkiness of the hotel. Just a small number of rooms, personal service, absolutely beautiful room. Great location not far from main station. Even loved the almost antique elevator. Great directions given by Daniele and he also gave us recommendations of nearby places for breakfast and dinner.

The best place to stay in Rome!

The perfect place to stay in Rome! Excellent location, 5-10 mins walk from the main train station Termini, 15 mins walk from the Trevi fountain, 20 mins from the colosseum. The room was clean, spacious with character. Communication with the host was excellent. We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic stay - highly recommend - 10/10

Everything. Daniele is an AMAZING host, the place is beautifully renovated - modern rooms but with history and the integrity of the building maintained. Aside from the amenities - waterfall shower, big spacious very comfy bed, the location is amazing SUPER central to the buses about 5 minutes away or if you feel like walking, you're super close. Double glass doors means you can't hear anything at night and the aircon is a lifesaver in the hot weather. Accessible, has a lift. Hot tip - the front building door needs a bit of a nudge when opening, at times it can get a bit stiff. Again Daniele is an amazing person, when in Rome stay here! Could not fault this place.

The perfect place!

One of the best places I have ever stayed! Everything was perfect - the room was so nice (we stay at room number 1), cozy and clean! The host - Daniele was very responsive and friendly. The location is in 20 min. away from every major attraction. The metro and train stations are also very near. The final days we even walk to/from the hotel without a map - it is so easy to orientate. Another bonus you get, if you stay there - one of the best gelato shops in Rome is located to the hotel! Don't hesitate - book it now!

Classic, unique, comfortable and ideally located

It was an easy walk to get to the hotel from the termini railway station after getting the Leonardo Express from the main airport. The hotel is small and unique and situated on the 6th floor of a large vintage tenement building. It only has 6 bedrooms and a communal room which is equipped with a great espresso machine. The whole hotel still has the original classic features which makes for a very homely and friendly vibe. We were welcomed by Daniele who was a wealth of local knowledge and gave us great advice. The whole area surrounding the hotel has plenty of bars and restaurants which are competitively priced … all of Daniele’s recommendations on where to eat & drink locally were excellent.

Good communication by WhatsApp, all the facilities were comfortable, fast wifi, good beds, cleaning was very good, airconditioning works well.

Perhaps replace the extraction system in the bathroom by one who makes less noise. Unable to sleep with window open because all airconditionings were situated on balcony and they do make some noise. We just turned the ac on for cooling at night (in January) and closed the window, it worked fine.

This was an absolutely beautiful stay! Spotlessly clean, so modern with beautiful decor, excellent air con, huge bed and very comfortable mattress, I haven’t slept that well in a long time! Very quiet building, excellent location close to everywhere you would want to go. Daniele was the perfect host, he messaged me detailed instructions on how to get to the property, gave us a map with notes on all notable places to go and how to get there, and even messaged me many restaurant recommendations for dinner. On our last night we came back to the room to a small bottle of Prosecco and a thank you note from Daniele. If I’m ever back in Rome I will be staying here again! Thank you Daniele!
