The property was excellent and the thoughtful welcome pack was much appreciated. Our host send us plenty of information before our arrival and there was a very helpful book in the property with loads of local information in it. When we had a hiccup with heating on Saturday evening she had it sorted in no time. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Amazing house in the beautiful countryside, perfect for large families and groups of friends. Deirdre was very helpful and left lots of little touches to make us feel welcome. She was very responsive with all our requests. The house looks even better than in the pictures. Fully recommend to anyone looking for a spacious, quiet, stylish accommodation.

An exceptional house in a beautiful location

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location. All the rooms are large and comfortable and very tastefully decorated. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living room where we were able to gather and relax. The outdoor seating areas were also very much enjoyed. The host was extremely welcoming and communication was great.

Great stay for a large group

Fabulous property, huge proportions, so every family unit had space and privacy while we were still all together. Fantastic stock of delf, pots, spices, seating etc. so very easily cooked at home for the big group with a Tesco only a few minutes drive away. Warm, cosy and inviting home. Perfect home away from home. Very sweet welcome basket. Lovely pubs, restaurants, cafes nearby on a rainy day, easy access to Galway and Connemara.

Just a note that Jacuzzi is a bubble bath inside as per pictures. Some laughed at our 'notions' of a hot tub.

Wonderful Xmas Stay

The house itself was absolutely fab! Deirdre could not have been more accommodating, we had a group of 6 adults and 6 kids staying. There was a stairgate, cot and monitor provided and a beautiful hamper on arrival. we most definitely would love to return in the summertime to experience the beautiful surrounds and beaches more.

There was nothing we did not like, house had WiFi, easy to find and close by to Spiddol town if we needed to run out for supplies etc

The house is fantastic. Very clean, modern kitchen, well placed and managed living room, spacious room. On top of everything, jacuzzi tub was awesome. Must say well decorated house with helpful and friendly host. You can also get some board games for fun.

Great Place For a Group!

We absolutely loved this home and we didn't want to leave! Deirdre was great at communicating before and during our stay. We were here in March, and the weather was very rainy,but this is a great home to cozy up indoors! We were a group of 6 women, and we watched movies and sipped wine and enjoyed a little spa treatment with Deirdras' wonderful product, seaweed face mask. Our skin felt so amazing afterward! The bedrooms were all and more than we had hoped for. They had very comfortable beds and a lot of space. We needed to do laundry, and the washer and dryer worked great. There is plenty of space and a rack to hang dry clothes as well. Seriously, we absolutely loved this home, and we will always cherish the memories here!

Teach na Mara was the perfect retreat for an extended family of 13 to explore the delights of An Spidéal. Six bedrooms (and more bathrooms than you could share a stick at) ensured peace and tranquility. The welcome board was a gorgeous personal touch, and the gorgeous treats. There were great facilities, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the family, beautiful decor, plenty of parking, room to run around for the little ones all contributed to a wonderful family weekend in an Gaeltacht. This was a very special weekend for a group of friends

This is a most beautiful home in an idyllic secluded location just a few minutes from beach and town. Deirdre was an outstanding host , warm and welcoming very easy to communicate with and she responded very promptly to any queries . She could not have been more helpful. She very kindly accommodated some special requests and this kindness really made our stay, and was so very much appreciated. Deirdre even helped me unpack my car on arrival. As everything in the house was perfect we didn’t require any assistance during our stay but as Deirdre lived next door it was reassuring to know if we needed anything she was more than willing to help us . The house was impeccably clean and very well presented. There was a feel good factor the minute you entered this beautiful home . Decor and furnishings were fabulous There were so many small details that enhanced our stay , a vase of fresh flowers a welcome board with Prosecco and cake . There were scented candles throughout, which all added to the ambience . The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly require and all of excellent quality. The living area was large and welcoming and beautifully furnished with large sliding doors opening on to a beautiful paved outside seating area complete with table chairs sofas and loungers . There was a further outside seating area with BBQ etc and beautifully illuminated with solar lighting The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and tastefully decorated and the beds and pillows were so comfortable We were a small group of 6 ladies who enjoyed the luxury of a room each ,but this beautiful home could easily accommodate a group of 14 with great comfort This home is a haven and perfect for a summer or winter break We are already looking at dates to book another stay

Teach na Mara is a beautiful, bright, spacious house, ideal for visiting Spiddal. A group of 11 of us stayed comfortably in the house for a family get together. The house is clean and has all the facilities you could need. There's loads of space , inside and outside, perfect for a group of friends/family. Deirdre is easily contactable and extremely helpful. I highly recommend a stay at Teach na Mara!

I stayed for two nights with 12 friends,the house is absolutely stunning,and so is its host.Deirdre was in contact before our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and had the house nice and warm for our arrival,she checked in throughout to make sure everything was OK.The house is ideal for families or friends and only a short drive to the town.Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

We could not have asked for more with this stay. The owner was so accommodating and welcoming, and the welcome note and treat on arrival was a lovely touch. The house is beautiful, spacious and spotless. The owner has thought of everything. The house is located in a lovely area, close to the local village and has so much beautiful scenery on the doorstep.
