Cosy stay for group of friends

Really cosy little cottage. The hot tub was an extra added bonus. The place was clean and comfy, felt like a home away from home, great location. The open fire was amazing. The book left was very informative and the smart TV was great to have, wifi was quick. Gorgeous view out the window

There could have been some extra cutlery, kitchen roll, bin bags, tea towels, and an oven dish would be a great addition. We were cooking a big dinner so needed these things. The cottage is quite cold especially in the winter but the fire warms the place up very well! The black paint on the floor seemed to go everywhere all over the house.

showers didnt work at all - both electric showers and the heating elements were blown in both so it meant either roasting hot or cold water :(. photos are misleading also as hot tub not in our house

It's remoteness and cooking space.

We had to wait for the cleaning to be completed. Very much your own check in, nothing extra provided. Could have provided eateries in the area for visitors.

It was an overall pleasurable stay.

The location was close to the little town which was nice. There was enough space for four adults. We enjoyed the jacuzzi.

The location was titled Atlantic view but the hedges were so tall we could not see the view which was disappointing to us.

It’s called Atlantic View for a reason!

I loved the view and the hot tub!! Everything was explained and communicated well. We truly loved our stay here!

Good, but could be much better

Good size and everything worked.

One of the showers was poor. The TV was tiny (in this day and age it is not expensive for a provider to have a large TV in a property). The back garden space could have been nice but it was overgrown and neglected. Some windows had cobwebs

Great position but accommodation a bit tired

We had a GREAT view from the balcony, house number 5. Not every house has a view of the sea, so do ask. Bed comfy, nice linen and towels. Very clean, high standard. Spacious lounge, ensuite bedroom. Very easy to deal with the booking, extremely helpful

The bedroom furniture/drawers are the most basic, pine, hard to use and let the place down. No lids on bins in kitchen. Oven covered in tin foil was a little strange. Overall the property needs a bit of TLC, U can tell it's a business and it is all a bit tired. No dishwasher.

Loved the ambiance / quiet / some view/ comfortable beds / clean

Hot water in second shower downstairs (not the ensuite) is either boiling hot or cold - could not find an in between, tried several days. A few more extras in kitchen like a second smaller pot and bigger boiling pot (pasta).

Amazing break with family in comfortable, well equipped house.

Lovely house with good facilities. 3km from Doolin. Great base for travelling around the West of Clare. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful local scenery. Easy check in and check out.

The house was great but the only issue we had which is noones fault was walking in to Doolin using the main road which was dangerous but we found an alternative smaller road to the right of the cottage which was much safer to use.

Adorable cottage with a hot tub right outside Doolin

Atlantic View Cottage was exactly what we hoped for our stay in Doolin. This is an adorable old cottage. Updated and comfortable for the 4 of us. The kids loved the downstairs bedroom. There is a bathroom on the main level. Upstairs, the master has an ensuite with small shower. The views from the upstairs skylight windows are amazing! You can see the fields extend right to the ocean and the Aran islands. The hot tub was nice - we had sunny warm days and loved being out on the patio. The living room and kitchen had everything we needed. The home is close to everything, and the cliffs of Moher are a short drive away. You can see a castle from the upstairs bedroom window.

The bushes in the back area are tall and you can’t see the water. If they were 1 ft lower, then you could see the ocean. I appreciated the washer, but it would be nice if there was a dryer. We were lucky it was sunny to dry our clothes.

Cozy, comfortable, private, remote cottage with lovely views.

The location and view were lovely. Lots of privacy. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. The support staff was available 24/7 by phone, which was helpful when we misunderstood some of the instructions. We enjoyed the hot tub.

Be ready for a rural experience. There is a caveat for the poor cable and wifi reception, which is understandable for the location. The washing machine was helpful but the lack of a clothes dryer was disappointing. I think this is a custom in Ireland, which I find astonishing given the amount of cool, wet weather there. It makes for a long rack drying experience. After 24 hours the clothes were still damp. Also, the black painted floors were peeling in places and we were finding paint chips here and there.

The location was amazing, with spectacular views from the hot tub.

The only thing I would say was that we were not sure which cottage we had prior to arriving. It just ment we didn’t know if we had a hot tub or not. My family hired 2 cottages and one had a hot tub which made the stay so much more enjoyable!

easy to find, ready when we asked

the wifi was weak and reception didn't have solutions but the manager came and connected us to a better router. all worked out. The location was a little further from ferry and town than described but easy enough with a car

Thought it would be walkable to Doolin but roads too hilly and unsafe for walking - easy to get a taxi though. Trouble getting dryer to fully dry our clothes.

Cute house with location close to town.

Good location in Doolin. Very clean. Good parking. Quiet. Hot tub is nice but we did not use it. Nice beds and bedding. Bathrobes were a nice touch. Nice view.

Figuring out how to have hot water in the showers was a bit of a struggle. Toilet flushing in the diwnstairs toilet was also a bit of a struggle. The 2 upstairs bedrooms shared an ensuite bathroom. That was not clear from the listing. There should be hooks in the bathrooms to hang up towels and toiletries.

Quite abit out of the village and a car is neccessary. Pictures inply there is a hot-tub available in the property but this is not true - it seems like there is several properties in a group, about 6, and 2 of them have a hot tub.
