b&b hotels are always consistent. excellent service and great stay. the staff and reception are always friendly and welcoming. quite close to the train station.

the location is 20+ minutes from anything interesting. from the reviews I thought it was very close to the city center and coffeeshops etc, sadly not so much.

Nice and quiet small hotel

For one night it's a good place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Good balance between price and quality. The breakfast is not various but good quality. I would recommend it to my friends.

The location can be good and bad depending on what you need. It's not so far from the railway station but you need to climb high stairs. And the check-in machine is buggy. The touchscreen needs some fix. It was a bit tricky to click on screen buttons.

Budget hotel out of town

We got free breakfast when our room upgrade did not happen. Location was OK for waterfront cafes and restaurants.

Reception opening hours which meant check in via a machine, and we had to wait 20 minutes to use as an older person had trouble checking in. We would have liked to have the room we actually booked rather than a standard room.

Good

Good room, clean, good wifi, great value of money and comfortable bed. 24/7 check-in terminal for late arrivals. Customer service support 24/7 - is great, helpful and fast.

The pillow was with a slightly rolled syntapon inside - it needs to be replaced. It makes me nerves, when check-in terminal do not accept the debit card but anyway CS helped me immediately.

Very poor

There is no phone signal, the wifi forces you to log in constantly, the reception doesn't open until 8am. Hard to get taxis. Clean hotel, staff nice but couldn't recommend it from a practical perspective.

Comfortable room, good location

Don't go for breakfast after 08.00 if you want a full selection of breakfast items. Fruit was available at breakfast only for very early arrivals.

Exceeded expectations.

The location is excellent for attending gigs at La Carene. Within walking distance of the harbour. Bus stops just outside, ideal for going to the railway station or into town. Staff were very helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent using all local ingredients. Room was spacious and comfortable. The keypad locks for the front door and Rooms is a very good idea. Don't have to worry about losing your keycard. All in all an excellent experience.

Reasonable price with good parking.

The breakfast was VERY poor. On 2 mornings there were no scrambled eggs, on 1 morning there was only a spoonful of scrambled eggs. On 1 morning there was only 1 piece of bacon. The scrambled eggs and bacon were quite cold. The staff said they could not cook any more eggs. The breakfasts were a total waste at €8 per day.

Horrible

The answer is NOT MUCH

It clearly stated when I booked the double room that it had a sea view. It didn't, I had the parking lot. The reception needs to help guests, not sit and watch idly by while one struggles with those awful heavy doors. I have actually injured myself when the door swung back on my foot.The reception saw what had happened and did and said absolutely nothing. The whole room shook violently and it sounded as if someone was trying to enter the room. Very frightening for myself and the dogs. The location is awful, right on a very busy thoroughfare with thundering traffic. No view at all. Restaurants and shops are a good 10 minutes walk away along that thoroughfare. No information given as to how to get out of the place when the reception leaves in the evening. The supposedly safe car park is anything but...it has a public pathway which has no gates so anyone can come through. Couldn't wait to leave. I have written a review to the hotel and they have not addressed any of the issues I have brought. Even insisting I had not stayed there! and I was obviously used to higher grade accomodation....

Disappointing

The room wasn't ready at all after the check-in time. It was not cleaned and there was noone working at the reception. The phone number written for cases like that wasn't working so we had to ask the cleaning stuff to cleaned the room for us. When we asked the reception guy about the situation he didn't even apologize and he was acting like it's normal and we should be happy they even cleaned it for us.

Un réceptionniste assez exceptionnel par son professionnalisme, très appréciable. Personnel agréable. Hôtel, de construction récente, très propre, bien situé à 5 mns à pieds du quai des douanes. Arrêt de bus devant l hôtel pour se rendre au centre-ville.
