Not what was on the advertised pictures host sleepin on the floor in the middle of the reception the shower hadnt been cleaned in years the shower doors hanging on a thread, the bed was clean and neat. Musik playing loud from the neighbours. You could hear every movement at night making you sleep with one eye open. I desided to check out after 1 night eventhough i had booked for 2 nights.

It was amazing , very cool nice place but please consider getting some things I mentioned above.

The reception guy was very nice , opened and closed for us whenever we needed him to. He gave us a fan without us having to ask for it as it was extremely HOT. He didn’t bother us with anything.

We booked a room for 2 people but there was only 1 small towel that we couldn’t even use because it had a very very bad smell , we couldn’t use the wardrobe too as it also had a very bad smell , saw a couple of cockroaches , there were no plates , blows , cups , glasses , utensils , pots , NOTHING!

Pleasant room at Goodwood

The size of the room and the hospitality that I received from the host since day one, he is friendly and helps when you need assistance.

I did not like that the apartment had no fan inside and it was very hot especially at night due to the wooden ceiling. I also did not like the stench smell that was caused by a leaking sink and made the whole room stink and the smelly sink water would leak all the way to the carpet which will make sleeping unbearable. The bathroom window had no curtain and it feels embarrassing when someone passes by while you are bathing. The room did not have any cutlery and microwave. You have to go to the main house to get the cutlery and the microwave. The place has potential and can do better with improvements here and there. Otherwise the stay was not too bad.

There was nothing 2 like as it started as a balls up and ended with me sleeping in my car.

The location was bad, the parking was tiny and difficult to access. The staff were funny and disrespectful. The room was not as advertised, Extremely disappointing stay at Sabbath Lodge We booked a unit for two people, and the experience was incredibly misleading from start to finish. The listing claimed to offer amenities including a bath, toiletries, working facilities, and basic comforts, but none of this was provided. We didn’t even receive two towels for two guests. The fridge wasn’t working, and there was only a single tiny toilet roll. We were initially sent to a completely wrong location. Only afterward did we get an SMS telling us to go somewhere else. When we tried to cancel due to the confusion and false advertising, they attempted to charge us extra. Then we were told we had to leave, even though we had nowhere to go, and the manager actually told us we needed to leave because he was tired. We were also not allowed to freely access our vehicle. We had to wait and ask permission just to go to the car, because the manager was “too tired” to open for us. No Wi-Fi password was supplied when we arrived, despite Wi-Fi being advertised. The photos online are not representative of the actual rooms, and there was no secure parking as claimed. False advertising, poor communication, unprofessional behavior, and an overall unpleasant and stressful experience. I strongly advise avoiding this property.

Very dirty, don't try it!

Very dirty, both the bedrooms and the showers were dirty. my kids slept on dirty linen, had to beg for mine to be changed. Walls were dirty. Lots of noise. not family friendly. Had a very strong smell. Cupboards moldy. Host avoided our calls when we wanted to cancel booking since we were unhappy with the place. We booked for 5 people and our invoice reflected 6 people and were charged for 3 rooms, even though we only used 2 because my kids are small and couldn't sleep alone in the backrooms. It was such a horrible experience. I will never recommend this.

I paid up fully. But staff wanted me to pay extra be is eWallet. I had to call Goodwood police.

I didn't get breakfast.i wasn't even offered. I only enjoyed the room.

I was treated badly by the staff. When I left, I had to leave my New kettle and toaster. My clothes. I had just bought new. My suitcase. I was only allowed to take my groceries. Is this how visitors are treated? Or am I a paying Prisoner??? I am not impressed at all

The host was friendly. Good location.

The house itself is very noisy with lots of non-guests coming in and out. The host and partner sleep on the couches in the lounge, in the center of the surrounding bedrooms, and spoke incredibly loudly while watching videos on full blast up till midnight. There was a cockroach in the shower. No water during load shedding. Well kept kitchen but not catering-friendly. There was only one fork. Not a good parking situation.
