Excellent house at a good location with kind and helpful owner.
A lovely decorated spacious and bright house, well furnished and very clean. The owners are very kind and helpful. Don’t be fooled by the picture shown on Google Maps, the house really is much better. Parking is near the house on private ground of the owner. Approximately 30 meter away from your front door. Good location in a nice town near the entrance of Dartmoor National Park and a half hour drive from Exeter.
There was nothing to dislike.. It would have been even better if there had been a dryer and an espressomachine. But those are extra’s and most certainly not shortcomings.

The accessibility meant that we had to carry our belongings across the terrace if five other properties. There parking available but not outside the property.

Tastefully decorated and furnished and extremely spacious property - the perfect getaway
Very peaceful property. Extremely well equipped. Wonderful view from the front terrace. Near to plenty of pubs and lovely places to eat. Just a few minutes to Dartmoor by car. Great walks on the doorstep. Local owner is very helpful and kindly left a welcome bottle of wine.

Great location close to Bovey town with fantastic views. Very large and comfortable bed. Property contained everything we required for our stay.
No means of hanging shampoo, soap, etc in the shower cubicle. Would be nice to have a coffee/side table or similar in the lounge.
