This pretty thatched cottage is situated in the Devon village of Ilsington and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

The Old Forge is a very pretty thatched detached cottage in the attractive Devon village of Ilsington. The cottage sleeps six people in two double bedrooms (one downstairs) and a twin, with two downstairs shower rooms. On the ground floor are a kitchen with dining area and sitting room with gas stove, as well as tile-floored lobby. Outside is a sunny enclosed garden with furniture and bike store. Just 150 yards from the village shop and pub, The Old Forge is a traditional Devon cottage ideal for enjoying walks, cycle rides and tours of the area.
This property does not accept children under 6, except babes in arms, due to steep stairs.

Amenities: Oil fired central heating with gas burning stove. Microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, Smart TV, Full Fibre broadband/WiFi, induction hob. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Illsington: Pretty little village (church, shop, good food pub) on Dartmoor's farmed and wooded south-eastern slopes, through which flows the River Lemon to Teignmouth, its ancient wooded valley a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and habitat for woodland birds and butterflies. Ashburton and Bovey Tracey, 5 miles. Haytor Vale is a very pretty hamlet of white cottages beside the old coaching inn, The Rock, on Dartmoor's southeastern edge just one mile from the market town of Bovey Tracey.
