The hosts are great, it is private without lots of people, the small cottage is just right for two people, and it is quiet compared to a city location. We also saw deer and other wildlife and birds.

Hosts very kind, helpful and attentive. Cottage cute, clean and comfortable.
Bedroom very small, therefore the bed also rather small. Sorry to admit that we missed having a television available.

Unexpected thoughtful items at every turn. There was yummy coffee and a large selection of teas, a wide range of breakfast and snack items, full kitchen, cozy gas fireplace with soft blankets, views of garden and wildlife (birds and deer). My husband loved the fresh baked cookies waiting for us upon arrival and the little treats he found in the kitchen. The individualized heating blankets made getting into bed cozy and inviting. Easy 5 minute drive to town and yet the site is in a quiet and peaceful rural setting. Best of both worlds. We had fun wine and spirits tasting all over the valley and had delicious meals at Humble Spirit, Crescent Cafe and Bierly Brewing all downtown. We returned to Bierly to pick up a loaf of fresh baked sourdough, fresh bagels and fresh donuts the morning we left town. Wine tasting did not disappoint, nor did the meals. It was nice to come 'home' to a cozy place to relax at the end of a packed day to decompress and recuperate for the next day. John and Kathryn were lovely with great recommendations!
Nothing really. My husband loved the firm bed that was a bit too firm for me... the only downside I can think of.
