About this cottage rental
The Farmhouse is one of nine tiny-cottages that make up The Boutique Retreat - a new tiny house hotel in historic downtown McMinnville. The Farmhouse is a 240 square foot, ADA compliant tiny house with rustic and charming design elements. The interior of the cottage has a dramatic arched ceiling that is 12 feet high at its peak with a large, continuous wood beam accented by rich tongue groove pine that beautifully contrasts with the clean white walls and warm luxury plank vinyl flooring. The center of the wood beam features an authentic barn pulley that was custom made into an artistic and functional light feature. The furnishings and décor were selected to create a classic farmhouse experience with barnyard accents, and modern amenities. To accommodate guests with disabilities, the cottage has a unique floor plan that features an extra large bathroom with a walk-in shower and spacious bathroom vanity. The farmhouse is located in a private, quiet location at the back of the retreat with easy access through the common courtyard.

All cottages have heating, air conditioning, wifi, flat screen tv with soundbar, and kitchenette with coffee maker and retro refrigerator. Take the .4 mile (8 min) walk to historic 3rd Street where you will find shopping, wine tasting, restaurants and micro brews. Or, stay at the Retreat and enjoy the outdoor firepit and courtyard while conversing with friends and fellow travelers. McMinnville is conveniently located in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country, just one hour from Portland and one hour from the beautiful Oregon Coast.

Great property. Very cute, but could use some tweaks in functionality, especially if you have luggage for a longer trip. The hanging closet is too close and an awkward reach over the toilet so did not use. Hot water was not consistent and outside security light kept getting triggered, perhaps by a weather vane in the garden.
Despite this, loved the complex and the common area. Well located and quiet at night.
