The house was well laid out and just as noted in the pictures. Having the garage for parking was a bonus and the TV carried full coverage of the Kentucky Derby which we would have otherwise not been able to see. The host provided us with lovely pastries, blueberries and a bottle of wine which was also a bonus. Restaurants, the beautiful Linfield College campus, grocery stores and ice cream were all within walking distance. The neighborhood is an older residential district and was so quiet for a weekend. This was a welcome respite for our daughters from their hectic jobs and a special time together as a family. We would stay again!

This is a wonderful house near the university. The host is responsive and kind. The house is a cozy place perfect for a family. The house is stocked with everything you could need and a whole closet full of board games and books. I will definitely stay here again.

I am a VRBO host in Santa Barbara and I have stayed at several short term rentals in McMinnville. This is one of the nicest places I have stayed. The house is incredibly well stocked. They thought of everything you might need during your stay. The beds are very comfortable. We were welcomed with snacks and wine. There's a lovely yard with a BBQ. It was too cold for us to enjoy that, but we will be back. The house is easy to find and check in was a breeze.

The neighborhood is a little rundown which made us feel a little unsettled, but it was a quiet and worked out just fine. We were able to garage our car each evening. Everything in the home was very clean and met our expectations. There was an issue with starting the grill but Janet responded immediately and She resolved the problem.

The house was well-appointed - there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided. It was comfortable for our little group and we enjoyed gathering around the island in the kitchen for snacks and a game from the well-supplied games/book closet. The property was very clean. The owner provided quite a bit of info about the town and the area (Willamette Valley wine country) and even provided a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Unfortunately, it was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space but there were several nice seating areas in the backyard. Overall it was a very pleasant experience for the four of us.

In Summary...This Place is AWESOME..! Home is fully equipped with all necessary dishes, condiments and accessories needed for use in the kitchen. Home was Clean...with Extra Blankets, Pillows...and LOTS of TOWELS..!! Loved the Garage Parking, two separate rear patio decks, large supply of books and games available, separate dining room as well as counter seating. Centrally located in McMinnville, we were 2 blocks from the Linfield University Campus where our Wine Festival was occurring and only around 4-5 blocks from the downtown area. We had requested a stand-alone fan for one of our group, not only was one provided, but there are separate AC Units in each bedroom which sort of nullified the need for a fan. Overall, we all agreed that a repeat stay would be definitely worthwhile.

This was a great house for our weekend getaway! We were three friends meeting up in McMinnville to visit some vineyards. It was a good central location and had 3 full bedrooms, one for each of us. The host kindly left a bottle of wine, coffee & snacks for us in the fridge which was much appreciated. We walked into town both nights (appx 1/2 mile) for excellent dinners at local places. The neighborhood wasn't fancy or upscale, but it felt safe & it was relatively quiet. Great overall experience, highly recommend.

This place was amazing on the inside. Completely new and updated for all the convenience of home. Easy to get to downtown and some beautiful wineries. We enjoyed our rental in McMinnville. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It is close to downtown and the university. It was quiet despite being surrounded by apartments. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the snacks and coffee. The grapes were exceptional! Pluses: very clean, convenient, garage, outdoor seating, plenty of linens. Cons: the living room sofa and love seat should be updated. We would rent this property again.

We absolutely loved our stay in McMinnville! Janet was a great host and easy to communicate with- she even left us wine and breakfast treats in the fridge! The house was clean and very easy to check in and out of, and fully stocked. Wish it was slightly closer to the Main Street due to my dad’s limited walking ability, but for younger people it would be a nice 10-15 min walk. Would definitely book again!

The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with utensils (I was able to make banana bread while there), and great water pressure in the showers! We had 3 adults and it was spacious. Super easy check in and check out- appreciated that the list of things we needed to do cleaning wise was just rounding up towels and starting the dishwasher so we got up and out quickly our last day. Very clean inside and extra touches of breakfast were a nice touch. Will stay again.
