Overall, a great stay!

The host was highly available for every question and request and responded quickly. They were also flexible with the timing of the city tax payment, which we needed to make slightly later than expected. Their book of recommendations helped us a lot to plan our stay in Lake Como. The apartment is nice and clean, and the facilities for the baby (high chair and cot) were fantastic. Anecdote: we accidentally broke a mug in the apartment, and the host made absolutely no drama about it. She cared a lot about making our stay as pleasant as possible. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Notice that this listing is in fact three different apartments. When scrolling through the pictures, it's easy to think that everything is one place, but it's not. It's one house divided into three apartments. We booked it thinking we'd get the biggest, most stylish apartment, and we ended up with something we liked less. It was still sweet and convenient, but I'm not sure I would have paid the same amount for what we eventually got. Also, some utilities (washing machine gel, trash bags, etc.) did not suffice. E.g. I wish there were more than one trash bag for our 5 days' stay. The parking lot is a bit tight for two big cars. We sometimes needed to coordinate parking with the other guests to make sure we could all enter and leave.

Rustic Italian gem with incredible view

Absolutely spotlessly clean accommodation with incredible view. Completely stocked facilities with all the glasses, cooking ware, towels, toiletries etc. Mattress extremely comfortable. Very handy guide lovingly prepared by the hosts with tips tricks and info for enjoying the neighborhood and surrounding areas. Lovely touch to be greeted with a bottle of bubbly.

Another mirror in the bedroom or living room would be handy 😎

The location was nice, slightly outside of Bellagio, which gave us a chance to experience a more local, peaceful area.

While it’s located a bit further from the town center, that actually turned out to be a plus - it gave us the chance to experience a more local, authentic side of the area, away from the usual tourist spots. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, and we loved being surrounded by locals. The studio itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, like a hair dryer, coffee machine, and all the little essentials that make a difference when you’re traveling. It felt cozy and well thought-out. Definitely a great choice if you want to explore Bellagio but also enjoy a more peaceful, local atmosphere.

1) The studio is actually a basement apartment, which wasn’t clearly described in the listing. Had I known it was in the basement, I wouldn’t have booked it - it gives a completely different experience - that we didn’t seek. 2) The apartment above had water damage, so there was ongoing plumbing work during our stay. While the host did inform us, if I were in her position, I would have canceled our booking altogether - after all, we were on holiday. On the first day, we were woken up by drilling at 8:00 AM, and on the second day, the workers were asked to come at 9:00 AM. I appreciate that landlord tried to manage the situation, but we came to relax, not to wake up early to construction noise, and a need to worry about it? 3) The parking situation also wasn’t clearly explained. The parking spot next to the building is reserved for the larger apartment upstairs, and others need to park further away. We only got lucky because that apartment was empty due to the water damage-otherwise, we wouldn’t have known that we were not prioritized for that spot. This was not mentioned in the booking.

Lovely lake Como stay

Good location with shop, bar & pastry shop nearby but 20 minutes walk to centre downhill & steep uphill not for people who don’t like walking or elderly, very clean apartment in quiet area

Room for improvement!

The hanging egg swing chair. Airconditioning was good and we slept well (also because of the good shutters).

Bathroom was not cleaned properly: hairs and piss on the toilet and bidet. Hairs and mold in the shower. Kitchen chairs were unstable. There was no extractor, oven and dishwasher. Sponge to do the dishes was already used and proper washing liquid was not provided. Towels for the bathroom were provided once, and for the kitchen we only received 2 tea towels. We stayed 6 nights and there also was no inbetween cleaning. The mattress was deformative. Not all power sockets were working. Due to lack of coordination with other guests, parking was made very limited. We had to park our car several times using only 3 wheels, because the other guest(s) did not give enough space for a second car to properly park. The accommodation is a 30 minute walk to the center of Bellagio and there is a lack of footpaths for a safe access to the town. Access to a reliable supermarket is not close (closest within 30 minute drive). The balcony has a view of a roundabout.

A beautiful place to stay in for peace and tranquility. I will call it a home away from home.

The property was exceptionally clean and had all the necessary equipment which one would want for cooking etc. Though it is a bit away from the town Bellagio, it’s situation is perfect. The view from there is superb. If one wishes to have peace of mind, this is the perfect place. The most beautiful part is that the hosts, Silvia and Luca are most helpful and assist you in anything you find missing. Overall a wonderful place to relax in. God bless their home

Хотелось бы коврик в ванную комнату, чтобы не наступать на ледяной мокрый пол. Что-то решить с отоплением в осенне-весен

-месторасположение -всегда была горячая вода -соседский кот -хозяин оперативно отвечал

-отсутствие отопления ( в октябре было очень холодно) -плесень ( ванная комната, около батарей, около входной двери и т.д) -сырость в апартаментах, в ванной комнате всегда было сыро и некомфортно, приходилось все время вытирать пол -2 раза пропадало электричество и приходилось самостоятельно идти на улицу ночью и переключать тумблеры в щитках -из-за того что в квартире выше была протечка, у нас на потолке было большое пятно, от которого сыпалась краска -кровать довольная короткая для людей с ростом выше 175 см

Das Studio war sehr gut ausgestattet. Sehr sauber, alles funktionierte.

Aussicht vom Studio nur auf Wände, d.h. Ausblick von zwei Fenstern nur auf Stein und Beton, zwei weitere Glasbausteinfenster ohne Aussicht. Gartenmöbel ungepflegt. Terrasse, sehr schmal und ohne Aussicht. Das Studio hat eine abgeschlossene Verbindungstür mit Blindglasausschnitt zu einer anderen Wohnung. Tipp's Hinweise und TV nur in englisch und italienisch. Kein persönlicher Kontakt (nur telefonisch und per Mail)

"Purtroppo l'alloggio non corrispondeva affatto a quanto promesso nell'annuncio. Le foto mostravano una splendida mansarda una vista meravigliosa e una terrazza, ma al nostro arrivo ci è stata assegnata una stanza in una cantina. Il letto matrimoniale era estremamente piccolo e scomodo, tanto che non siamo riusciti a riposare bene. Le finestre erano di vetrocemento e affacciavano su un muro a un solo metro di distanza, rendendo l'ambiente molto claustrofobico

Correspond parfaitement à nos attentes.

Location très confortable et très propre. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, disponibles et nous ont donné de nombreuses indications pour optimiser notre séjour. L’emplacement est un peu excentré du centre mais garanti du coup une grande tranquillité (le petit déjeuner à la Pasticceria à 2 pas est à recommander).

L’appartement est très lumineux et un rideau occultant sur la porte de la chambre pourrait être bienvenue afin de ne pas être réveillés par la lumière du jour (mais c’est vraiment pour chipoter !!)
