Great coastal cottage in the heart of brixham

Great location overlooking the harbour.... very close to town and easy to walk everywhere. Property had everything you wanted and nice touches like a pint of milk and coffee etc

Property is great and can't fault Would recommend putting on instructions/making it clear not to drive up to the cottage... especially not in an suv as you can't turn and have to reverse thought the tightest roads

Fantastic Brixham stay

Fantastic location and really comfortable space. A brilliant base for a break away in Brixham, the house had all the amenities we needed. It was so quiet and a 2 minute walk to the centre. Support was very responsive to questions and queries.

The upstairs spaces were a little smaller than expected, though not that we feel we were mislead, we just thought the pictures suggested they were bigger.

Comfortable accommodation for a short break. Ideal location.

The location comes up tops. Right in the centre of Brixham harbour. Close to the bus station and ferries. The property inside was clean and tidy. However, the outside near the kitchen area could have been cleaner. The bed linen was fresh and the bathrooms were well equipped with towels. The view from the top floor of the harbour is a treat especially in the early morning.Overall it was a comfortable stay. In a well equipped cottage.

I contacted Saltwater escapes during my stay as we could not get WiFi. Also a small open area (outside)adjacent to the lounge smelt of fish as a couple of fishing nets had been left there. This made the lounge initially smell of fish especially with the hot weather. Outside by the kitchen door a doggie bag had been left on the floor which I had to remove . On arrival the large black waste collection bag full of rubbish had been left right outside the main entrance door Which rather spoilt first impressions. It was there for three days until it was collected at the end of our stay. Saltwater escape did not respond to my email.

A very pleasant stay in a cosy cottage with wonderful views.

Great location, very clean and wonderful views. We were lucky to be at the cottage when the Christmas fireworks and market were on, so had a great view of the fireworks.

It would have been even better if we’d had some milk left in the fridge.

The property was perfectly situated right by the harbour and although the directions explained that the road to the property was very narrow that was a rather nerve wracking attempt to park in front of the property (and we do not have a large vehicle) and I would recommend suggesting parking in the short stay a short walk rather than attempting to park outside to unload. However it was a really lovely cottage with all the mod cons and we had an enjoyable stay and look forward to returning.

We don’t think it had been fully cleaned prior to our stay as we found a random sock on the stairs on our arrival. However this is a minor aspect in what was a really lovely weekend.

The location was great and the cottage was comfortable! Good communication with the agency too!

Potential visitors should be aware that the road leading to the cottage is extremely narrow. There is a turning point, but another car came up behind me and I did experience problems due to the ‘congestion’!

it was a nice warm cosy cottage close to everything

The property was not very clean there were cobwebs everywhere and what looked like dog hairs all down the stairs. The first thing we had to do was vacuum when we first arrived which is not what you expect to do when you go away.

Stunning location. Lovely cottage. Super help and support from host. Dog friendly.

Superb location, close to the harbour, bars, restaurants and shops. walking distance to beaches. The cottage is on 3 floors. It is very well equipped and furnished. The garden is a sun trap . Sarah was very helpful on every question I asked and went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed. The parking permit is fantastic. You cannot park at the property so having the option to park anywhere in the area is brilliant.

Nothing. I was a little anxious about dropping off my luggage, dog, his luggage when I arrived because of the narrow street and turning space. I parked in Central and walked up which was fine it is a 3 min walk. But having gained confidence I drove up to load up and leave. I have a big estate car. It was fine. I put in my wing mirrors for the narrow stretch and went slowly. The turning space was plenty big enough and my car is quite long.

Lovely Springtime stay in Brixham in a comfortable, pretty cottage.

Great location, lovely views, well equipped, small garden at the back, close to town & restaurants. Favourite restaurant was Shoals, 20 min walk but worth it. Good to have a parking permit & managed to unload & turn in the turning area as we have a small car. Enjoyed walk to Berry Head, visited Dartmouth via ferry & Coleton Fishacre - Art Deco National Trust House with lovely gardens.

Freshwater car park took some finding as there were road works & diversions. Up to date information on this would have helped.

We liked the fact that it was close to the harbour and shops.

We weren’t happy that we got a parking ticket because the parking permit had not been activated. Also the parking was a bit of a walk.

Super charmant huisje met een prachtig uitzicht op de haven vanuit de slaapkamer.

De bedden voor de kinderen waren echt klein en voor onze jongens te klein, 11 en 15 jaar.
