We love the living area’s enormous bay window that looks onto the sea – a view that goes hand in hand with a bottle of wine in front of the fire or a good book. Mousehole offers plenty of options for eateries, including traditional pubs and tearooms, but on nights when you just fancy a home-cooked meal, the kitchen is fully equipped. Dine at the rustic wooden table, then head out for an evening walk along the harbour wall and watch the waves crash. Tomorrow you can walk the Coastal Path to the Tater Du Lighthouse, or take a scenic drive to the nearby towns of Newlyn, St Michael's Mount or charming St Ives. If you prefer to stay in Mousehole, wander the shops and enchanting streets of this quiet seaside town before returning it's time to hit the beach again.
