The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included and excellent. There was a good selection on the menu and specials board for the evening meal, which was also excellent.

It was a lovely local pud and inn, good food, beer and close to Mousehole.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was great, beds comfortable, shower was good
And though having a TV is not why I am travelling, it was good to have a good size one.
The shower controls were abit confusing and the basin was not practical.

The character of the building and the local people
One minor gripe the shower was initially cold due to pipework runs, word of advice, wait until the hot water comes, then you will have a good shower

Beautiful historic old pub full of character. Food was lovely.
The restaurant/pub area was very cold. They need some more heating to make it comfortable. One staff member was quite blunt and not helpful and it appeared that it was an inconvenience to answer a basic question. Other staff were great. Tiny bathroom to the point that as a 60kg person I struggled to get in and out of the shower. I really don’t think a larger person would be able to.

The pub and our room were both very clean and well presented. The bed was comfortable and tea, water, hot chocolate and cookies were all provided in the room. It was easy to find by road and there was ample free parking. The food was very good and well presented (the Katsu chicken curry was amazing!) and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend.

My room was very well presented, very clean, and recently refurbished, I think, as the bathroom in particular was very modern looking, and the rainfall shower was amazing! I ate dinner and breakfast there too, and both were delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which is always appreciated when you're staying away from home on a work related trip.
Nothing springs to mind, to be honest.

It's quiet for a pub. Felt very comfortable. Fast WiFi.
Maybe didn't need twin family room. Was expensive both accommodation and meals. But it's expensive anywhere. I paid £90 per night. £75-£80 would have felt better. That's how I feel.

Kings Arms jumps off the page with charm and character, Rob, Rebecca & Emma are great hosts, give a warms and sincere welcome, and are very quick to give advice on locations to visit too.
However, the room, although SPOTLESS and comfortable was very small and we could feel (the floor was "bouncing") and clearly hear people moving around in the room next door - to the point it felt like we were all in the same room. Bathroom had a fantastic shower, instant really hot water and again SPOTLESSLY clean.
Its a very old building and provides fantastic access to Mouse Hole - which is a MUST to visit.
We had dinner in the bar (not included) and breakfast next morning and both were very good and overall great value for money!
Noise in the room - especially feeling the movement in the floor from movement in room next door.

A beautiful building in a gorgeous village.
Breakfast cooked to order was delicious, as were the main meals.
All the staff were amazing, very professional whilst being friendly.
We loved the mix of locals and guests at the pub, not to mention Mousehole Male Voice Choir visiting after rehearsal!
All in all, a truly wonderful place to stay.
We didn’t like leaving!
Apart from that, nothing!

Comfortable and well maintained pub with accommodation in a great setting, run by friendly and helpful team. Breakfast - Full Cornish - was very good, with locally sourced produce. Bathroom freshly renovated had a great shower. Location is excellent, nestled in the heart of a beautiful village. Extremely good value for money

Great welcome; friendly and attentive. I arrived late evening and although the pub was busy they were quick to get me my room key and offered to help me with my bags. A very comfortable, good sized and well thought out room in a lovely village pub. Don’t be put off my concerns about noise from the pub - I didn’t hear a sound ! I was only there one night on my way to the Isles of Scilly the next day but would have been happy to have based myself there for a few days exploring locally.

location, the staff, the food and beer
I would not fault what I experienced, but say how it could be improved. To keep the radiator water flowing and hot, so heat is always available and to have a pull out, or let down surface area, the bathroom had nothing, the bedroom needed more. I decided the floorboards moving with other guests walking the corridors was in the very quaint and authentic category.

The food was amazing, with huge portions on everything. Locally sourced, so good quality as well as quantity The staff can't remember all the names except Rob, Ted, Rachel, Claire, and Lisa but everyone was friendly and helpful going above and beyond. Would go back more often if it was closer to home and we will be back
Everything was good no complaints

The bed was fairly comfortable, though lumpy, and room seemed clean. Staff were pleasant though very busy, breakfast was excellent and generous.
It was quite run down, and for the price I paid I expected a little more. Room was tiny and the blind in the bedroom was broken and filthy. Very thin walls, I could hear the conversation clearly of the couple in the next room. Not suitable for disabled people/wheelchairs.
