There are awe-inspiring panoramas to take in from the terrace, complete with dining area for alfresco feasts, but also the living room, kitchen and even the bath. Skiers will be delighted to know that the shuttle to the gondola is just a short walk away, making it easy to hit the slopes. Those opting for a hiking holiday in the warmer months can join the trails right from the house. Back at the lodge, a lift connects all three floors, perfect for when you’ve done one too many ski runs. Jump in the hot tub to warm up, or stretch out in front of the fireplace as you enjoy some après-ski drinks from the home bar. This is definitely the place for large gatherings with your loved ones – but there’s so much space that it’s easy to find a little nook for some much-needed me-time too.
