About this house rental
This sprawling, spacious home is located near the Aspen Golf Course just off Cemetery Lane in West Aspen. This home provides incredible views of Pyramid Peak, Aspen Highlands, and the Buttermilk/Tiehack ski areas through large picture windows in the main living area of the home. It is in a quiet neighborhood setting but close to a free shuttle stop that will bring you into Aspen's downtown core and the world-class shopping, dining, and skiing that Aspen offers. Guests have access to this home's two car garage and large driveway. Upon entering the home, the first-floor wing is to your immediate right, the garage and private elevator to the second floor, is to your left and a grand staircase beckons you to the upper level of the home.
The upper level has 4 of the 7 bedrooms (king bed, king (can be made into twins), king (can be made into twins), and twins separated). It also has a double living room, a dining room with seating for 10, a wood-burning fireplace, hardwood floors, a Bose sound dock, multiple DVD players, TiVo, a bonus bedroom with a twin bed, and a laundry room. The front balcony expands the length of the home and is host to a gas grill and provides balcony access off the master suite and guest suite. The large outdoor back patio-deck is complemented by a hot tub, several tables and chairs with umbrellas and a direct hiking trail up the Red Butte! At the top of the trail, enjoy 180-degree views of 3 of our 4 ski mountains, Aspen golf course and majestic Pyramid Peak. The kitchen is a chef's dream with granite counter-tops, two ovens, a microwave, a Jenn-air cook top, and a dishwasher. It is fully equipped and ready for you to entertain while in Aspen! Silver Kingdom is expansive with an east wing and west wing and lives almost as 2 private homes with an upstairs and downstairs kitchen, a private library, multiple sitting areas, and fireplaces. If entertaining and enjoying friends and family is your desire or if you seek peace and privacy, all abound in this well thought out design.
The first floor has three bedrooms (queen, king (can be made into twins), and king (can be made into to twins), a charming living room with fireplace, hardwood floors, a large flat screen TV, a second full kitchen, a dining area with seating for 8, and a washer/dryer. It is perfect for allowing a second family or the kids to have their own space. If you travel with a nanny, caretaker, or personal assistant the queen size bedroom, has its own private entrance, living area and private bath. Daily housekeeping is complimentary with your stay. Our stay was terrific. The house is well stocked and comfortable for large groups. The free shuttle to town every half hour right from the house is great, it’s very close to the Rio Grande trail and other trails for hiking, and the property management was responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay again next year!

This home was absolutely a home away from home for our family during a difficult time as we buried a beloved aunt and uncle who had resided in Aspen since the 1960's in Red Butte Cemetery. We were able to walk, my 90 year old mother, and I, multiple times during our stay from the home to the Cemetery. The commication was excellent before and during our stay, directions were clear. We had several formal family gatherings in Aspen during the long weekend for the Memorial, while this home was a welcome place to gather informally with our beloved cousins. The host is most accommodating and we hope to return to this home in the future if we return to Aspen, now that our most beloved residents are gone...Thank you for everything ❤️

We had family and friends staying with us and needed lots of bedrooms. This was perfect for us, and very close to downtown.

I've stayed at many houses in Aspen. This was not my favorite house, but it was comfortable and large enough for our group.
Pros: 8 bed rooms and 2
Floors that allow privacy for big groups. Large sitting areas were great for group gatherings. House cleaning was great but would be better if they weren’t in the house at the same time.
Cons: Hot Tub smelled fishy, Kitchen lights kept going off and breaker didn’t help the first night in fixing so we didn’t have lights the 2nd day, dining room lights kept flickering; showers were cold and our group complained of not being able to take warm showers.
We had a great time as a group, but I wouldn’t book this house in the future especially because I got nicer and bigger homes for close to the same price and closer to town. Again the price should be reduced and it shouldn’t be titled luxury because it really isn’t compared to the luxury homes I’ve stayed in the past.
