ERMOU STREET APARTMENTs

Excellent location

Because of the prime ERMOU mall location, you can’t drive up to the door with luggage. Short 50 metre walk with luggage required.

Location was excellent, everything you could need are steps away - if a light sleeper a pub in alley can go late at night, we didn't mind. Air conditioning in apartment was nice, only bathroom doesn't have ac and is quite humid.

Description of unit stated had washing machine and none in apartment. Small elevator which is nice but if need to walk up its four flights of spiral stairs

The apartment was spacious and kitchen was new. The terrace was large and had a great view.

Although it was overall clean, it felt like the floors had not been mopped in a while. The bathroom was small and difficult for a family of four to use. The washing machine was not working for us. We would have liked more pillows. Overall the main problem with this apartment was the square outside has music or commotion all night long and is very loud. There are bright screens that flash and affect your sleeping. I would not recommend staying in Plaka.

The location is excellent, and the balcony phenomenal and is consequently the only reason to stay here.

This place was very difficult to initially find. We followed the instructions provided on the booking page. The Google map pin is for a different apartment that is also located nearby. When I called the host to ask for clarification, he was rude, asking why I hadn’t read the instructions he sent me. He sent them 25 min prior to my expected arrival (it was well after the check in period and I’d let him know of my expected arrival time) which meant I was already in a taxi and on my way to the location when he sent the updated information. The keybox also has a different name for the apartment, which added to an already confusing situation. The unit could use a deep clean (the floors and baseboards have dirt on them), many of the shower tiles were coated in a film that was falling off, the toilet seat was cracked and had been crudely repaired. The balcony shutters to the doors are missing latches, so the shutters will slam against the wall if it’s windy. It’s especially annoying when you’re trying to rest. It took some time to figure out how to unlock the door (the key needs to be turned four times and the knob was loose).
