Host was lovely, really welcoming & accommodating! Beautiful property & location (easy to find also). Breakfast was lovely & we both felt very comfortable!

Only thing we would mention is the possibility of a door at the bottom of the stairs to secure a little more privacy but very minor detail.

A perfect weekend away experience with rural views from both sides

Warm, comfortable so clean and welcoming. As a single woman travelling alone I felt safe and with breakfast brought up to my own little sitting room it was a real treat.

I would highly recommend. There was nothing that I didn’t like.

Lovely house in beautiful countryside surroundings.. Out of town, so is very quiet. Good size rooms. Double bedroom with such a comfy bed. Separate TV/breakfast room with tea and coffee facilities and fridge. Good size bathroom with a bath and an excellent shower. All beautifully decorated and very clean. The host was very friendly and welcoming. In all we had a very pleasant stay at Larksfield Loft and would highly recommend it

Lovely location- plenty of natural light - lots of nice little touches (cold water, milk, yoghurt and orange juice in fridge) - breakfast had everything you could ask for. Shower nice and strong and bed very comfy.

Cosy room in a country setting with great continental breakfast

Hostess was lovely, stayed up late to allow for our delayed check in. We met Amber (the lab) and opening the curtains in the morning to the cows in the field was lovely. Breakfast was great and really good location

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful stay with a bonus living room and a yummy breakfast.

Just a short distance on a country road and you come to Larksfield loft. A beautiful and quiet setting. The facilities are great with your own bedroom, bathroom and sitting room (basically the whole of the upstairs).

The rooms are reached from an internal stairs so there is no lockable door to the upstairs area. Just a change after staying at hotels and B&Bs with a lockable door.

Hazel was a wonderful host, always accommodating but never intrusive. The continental breakfast was great, fresh berries, croissants and toast with all the extras. The location was perfect for us, quiet with glorious views. Could not have asked for more. Tina and Chris

Very friendly hospitable hostess.

It was in an idea position to break the journey into Cornwall. The facilities were exactly as described. The hostess was exceptional . We arrived late afternoon on a Sunday, Hazel the hostess greeted us with a warm friendly welcome and after finding out we hadn’t eaten, assisted us in sorting somewhere to eat nearby as most places stop serving after lunch. She even liaised with the restaurant and reserved a table. Thank you Hazel We will certainly stop again

A very quiet and relaxing stay.

The host, Hazel went above and beyond to make our stay extremely pleasurable. We were only staying one night on the way to catch a ferry but would definitely stay here again for longer if we are ever down this way for holidays.

Peace and quiet, completely away from the distractions of the outside world.

The location - quiet, rural, and surrounded by beautiful views. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable and decorated with simple good taste.

The tv worked intermittently, and then gave a selection of channels that were not to our taste. Normal tv was unavailable. However, everything else made up for this.

Useful location, clean and pleasant rooms with a most solicitous hostess.

The continental breakfast was perfectly adequate with delicious warm croissants and fresh local milk. The location was perfect to get on and off the A30 and as a resting place before going to Cornwall. The host was attentive to our needs and kind and courteous. Superb cleanliness. And fresh air.

The front step into the property is a little high for a very small minority of people with a back problem! But this is a very small point indeed!!
