Beyond expectation

Starting with a warm welcome, freshly baked cakes and a very comfortable home, it is evident that the hosts put a lot of passion in running the cottages. It is a true home-from-home, with so much detail provided, ensuring that you can relax. We loved the location, and would definitely return, as well as highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to relax and unwind. It is ideally located for exploring Dartmoor as well as Cornwall, with great hikes right on the doorstep. Cottage is large and spacious, tastefully decorated giving a modern country cottage feeling. Thank you Jackie for an amazing stay.

Wonderful location for exploring Devon and Dartmoor

A very nice self-catering cottage with all facilities at your fingertips. We had access to a spacious private kitchen and a spacious living room. We were welcomed with a delicious homemade cake. The bedrooms were both spacious and the bathroom was also well equipped. So the welcome was extremely friendly and also during our stay we could always reach them quickly. We had some problems with our bike carrier and the owners solved them very quickly and competently. We are still grateful for that.

Actually nothing and what was missing, we were the first guests in this cottage, we passed on to the hostess. So no complaints

The best accommodation we have ever stayed in - we will definitely return.

What a wonderful welcome. There was milk, chocolate cookies and homemade cake - a much needed pick-me-up after a long journey. The barn was beautifully decorated and furnished with tasteful touches - absolutely no tatty, shabby furnishings here! The barn was immaculate in every way and cleanliness in all areas was outstanding. It was an excellent location for exploring Dartmoor.
