Ca' Dea Sarta Venice Apartment

Very clean and comfortable apartment in an excellent location !

Both my wife and I were very pleased with our five-night stay at the Ca' Dea Sarta Venice Apartment. While the apartment is not luxurious, it is very comfortable in many respects. For instance, it is very well equipped, everything works properly and the apartment is in excellent condition. It is comfortable too because it is remarkably peaceful, day and night. Moreover, throughout our stay (in early June) it was never too hot or too cold: the solid walls and well-made windows kept the temperature steady. Also, thanks to the excellent shutters, we were not disturbed by the very early sunrise. I would like to comment on the location of the Ca' Dea Sarta apartment. We have stayed in Venice at least ten times over the past 25 years, and we have stayed in many different parts of Venice. Because moving around in Venice takes much time and energy, the choice of the area of accommodation is very important. For us the location of the Ca' Dea Sarta Venice Apartment was excellent -- relatively near the Santa Lucia railway station (we travelled to and from Venice by train), fairly near several Vaporetto (water bus) stops (and routes), and near friendly, lively neighbourhoods with good restaurants and cafés. It is also an area less troubled by mass tourism than many others. However, the location would not necessarily be ideal for persons who foresee a short visit to Venice centered on visiting the Rialto bridge and San Marco, especially if they are travelling by air. Staying at the Ca' Dea Sarta Apartment is easy. The owners are fluent in English, the apartment is very well supplied, and there are specialty food stores and supermarkets near by. Checking-in and checking-out were very easy

The apartment is comfortable but not uniquely or specifically Venetian. It does not look out on a canal, and it is decorated and furnished in a tasteful contemporary manner.

Modern and very clean apartment. Unit is ground level, easy to access. Nice to have a real person show the apartment. Close to train and Vaporetto stations.

Nice courtyard, but it was locked.

The apartment is spacious, clean, cozy and well equipped. The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to Vaporetto, airport bus, restaurants and super market very convenient. Also the owner Barbara and her husband are very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.
