Nice, convenient apartment five minutes walk from Almaty airport terminals.
If you are travelling from outside Kazakstan check that your mobile phone can successfully dial the owners number as although my phone had international roaming and I use it in many countries it did not call the owners number any time I tried.

Don't be put off by the state of the building as a whole. Inside, you'll find a renovated apartment that is well-maintained and located just a hundreds meters from the airport. It's easy to find and access, and it's clean and comfortable.
none, actually.

Next to the airport, great for layover. Host very helpful and engaging, easy check in and out.
A bit basic facilities, beds could be a bit more comfortable. Was expecting a 1 bedroom flat, which is a in addition to living room etc, but turned out to be a studio flat, living room was the bedroom. Too pricey for size and location.
