It was a good, enjoyable and comfortable stay
Location was quite convenient. It was near the beach and close to amenities like shopping and the high street. We were using local buses for commute and the bus station was not too far from the property. There's also a leisure pool nearby in case you need to spend some time indoors
The only thing to be mindful about is if you are travelling with heavy luggage, there's no lift and hence a bit of inconvenience to carry luggage to the 2nd floor (where the property is).

Amazing stay!
We loved the comfortable and modern facilities available. Very close to the city and the beach. Easily accessible to the train station. Car parking was easy and available. Very good communication from the owners - extremely helpful when checking in and throughout our stay. Very glad there were fans too as it was very hot during our stay!
Plenty of pans and kitchenware, which was very useful, but some were a bit dirty.

Filthy apartment with an unsympathetic owner
Very little. The location was convenient.
We arrived in Swansea excited for the weekend. The instructions for the apartment parking were easy to follow and we were looking forward to relaxing after a 5+ hour journey.
As we entered the communal stairwell, we were met with a strong smell of cannabis from the apartment directly below ours. We carried on up the stairs, unlocking the door and the first thing we noticed was the smell of the apartment. The type you get when someone has tried to disguise a bad smell by spraying cheap air freshener. On first inspection, our worst fears were met. The apartment had been hastily and superficially cleaned after the last occupants. The fridge absolutely stank and the oven was full of crumbs and leftover bits of pizza. The hob had not been wiped and the metal and glass fronted cupboards were filthy with rust marks and stains. The two glass fronted cupboards had dead fruit flies inside the glass and there was open food inside some of the cupboards. There wasn’t a single area of the kitchen that looked properly clean. The current photo of the lounge paints a wholly disproportionate picture of the property as the blue couch, dining table, chairs and rug are not the same. They have been replaced with cheaper furniture. The whole place needs is in desperate need of updating, decorating and a proper “deep clean”. The wooden floors were sticky and the corners of every room have collected dust, fluff and other debris - just an overall lack of attention to detail by the cleaners.
In the bathroom there was a mop and bucket by the toilet. The mop head was dry, and so old and dirty that it was barely still in one piece. It clearly hadn’t been used in months and was long past its sell by date (see photos). The towels absolutely stank. A sure sign of being washed on a cold cycle with very little, if any, detergent.

Good value for money
I liked the location close to city centre, marina beachfront and supermarkets. Also, that it provided a parking lot very conveniently located.
The apartment is in good shape overall.
The kitchen is very well equipped.
Although it is not mentioned in the description (or it is not clear) it has two bathrooms! An en-suite with a shower and a family bathroom with a bathtub which was a nice surprise.
The host was very helpful and offered to send someone after I found out, as soon as entering the flat, that the shower had been left leaking wetting all the bathroom floor.

Some of the photos in Booking.com do not match with the property. Furniture and even one of the rooms do not seem to be the same. Also it looks less worn out in the pictures.
I did not like that it wasn´t mentioned this is a second floor apartment.
It is a bit difficult to open the lock box to get the keys.
The dining area window which overlooks the street and is opposite to another block of apartments, has no curtains or blinds at all.
The blinds in the main bedroom are not suitable for bright days when the light comes in very early in the morning. There should be an additional curtain to block extreme light.
Too late check in time (16.00 hs) and too early check out time (10.00 hs).

A lovely apartment very close to shops and the beach.
The apartment is lovely. Very clean and tidy. Love how it is fully equipped with everything you could need. The kitchen had every utensil and pot and pan you could need. I didn't need to bring anything really. All towels and bedding was supplied. There was washing up liquid, shampoo, shower gel and soap all supplied. brilliant
The area is a bit noisy but then it is a city so to be expected. The sofa bed was a clever design but not that comfortable. A really minor thing, but the only pans not supplied were pizza pans, but they're never supplied anywhere we stay.

Lovely place to stay for a family weekend.
Very close to the beach and also walking distance from the city centre. The parking spot is right in front of the apartment so it's nice that you can see your car when you look out the window. To the back is a road but there's hardly any noise from cars driving past. The place is a good size. The settees and the beds are all very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped if you fancy cooking. Otherwise, there's plenty of restaurants nearby. There are 2 toilets so no queueing! The building does not have lifts but 2 sets of stairs isn't too bad. An absolutely wonderful place to stay either for business and/or pleasure. Would suit any guests from adults to families with young children.
There doesn't seem to be recycling facilities in the building so all the rubbish go in one bin. This of course is not under the control of the host but would be nice if recycling is promoted/encouraged in the area.

Decent place for a short stay
Reasonable place for a short stay. Well located for the museum, leisure centre, beach and city centre. For Swansea, decor is well done for the budget. It was clean. TV and internet worked well.
Definitely some penny pinching going on - poorly equipped kitchen, no cafetiere or coffee making setup, no dishwasher tabs?! A general need for maintenance with several minor issues needing attending to.

Looks very nice on photos but has work to be done and not suitable for young kids.
Very close to the beach.
Very noisy from 4am due to fish place loading and unloading. Also It's not safe for young kids . 3 blinds broken, kick boards broken, the hob is bad scratched. Open old food. Old sheets that feels very cheap and worn out as if it was done with scraper and faded. Maybe just get plain white instead of black and brown. Bath took forever to empty, was hot but couldn't open windows due to the kids, so much dust and old things from previous people under the couch when I collected toys that went underneath. It's on the second floor and only stairs. The cupboard under the sink was very dirty. Toilet seats lose, lights under counter taped with tape. My 8 year old asked if he could speak to the manager as he wanted to leave and said he will sleep on the couch. Personally I would recommend to spend se money and do few things, new bedding first and then buy proper soap not people old stuff. Fix lights, skirting and kick plates and new hob, and a lamp for the bedroom. Just a few things to look at that won't cost to much I reckon.
