If you're in this region, stay here, you won't be disappointed!

Agnes and her colleagues were very friendly and helpful making our stay enjoyable. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling in the northern region of Lake Garda. If you want to be away from the crowds Torbole is perfect for this. Lake Garda offers so much in the way of activity ie. biking, hiking, climbing and water sports. The breakfast each morning was a delicious assortment of food, you could even have Prosecco! The views... UNBELIEVABLE. Each room offers a view of the lake. The rooms had plenty of storage for luggage and they were clean and modern. We were able to park our car next to the apartments and there were very clear directions to get there. This is superb accommodation and we hope to be back one day. Thank you Agnes and all the staff you made our stay most memorable.

A stay that we wanted to continue!

Agnes held our hands through our entire stay from parking, to our rooms, to the wonderful breakfasts. The view from the balcony is spectacular and the rooms are perfectly appointed. Very comfortable. Didn’t want to leave. Thanks for everything!

The best place by Garda lake

It is one of the best places I’ve ever been to and I travel a lot! We had the balcony with panoramic lake view and it was stunning! The room was perfectly clean and spacious. The breakfasts were different everyday and every time it was great. And with that view it tasted even better. The service and host have been so nice, we felt really welcome. Interior of the hotel was well designed and smelled like in spa :) The location was also perfect, beach, ferry and small city center with great restaurants in couple of minutes walk. We will be back!

Amazing view of Garda lake. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with a la carte options. Walking distance to city center, lake shore & boat terminal. The room was spacious, very clean with a nice design. Our room had a spacious terrace perfect for sun bathing and enjoying the views. Flawless wifi

Stunning setting with gracious host

We booked 2 rooms for our family of four and both had beautiful views. We loved its slightly hidden location that is still close enough to walk to the town of Torbole. Alessandro greeted us like old friends and was so helpful in recommending restaurants, activities, and places to sail. He even gave our son some excellent windsurfing tips! Breakfast on the terrace was beautiful and delicious. We would love to return.

Relaxing, magnificent view from breakfast patio

Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. The owner Alessandro was very nice and hospitable. We were there as our son was participating in the Youth Sailing World Championship in Lake Garda. The lookout from the property allowed us to have magnificent views of the lake and the racing sailboats.

We were running behind schedule on the day of arrival and the staff had to wait for us to brief us on accessing the property and passing us the room key. We felt really bad for the delay but it was out of our control. If access were possible for guest’s late arrivals it would’ve been better for both sides.

Vista Lago is a fantastic property. It’s location is ideal, on a hill side overlooking the harbor and the mountains of Torbole. It is modern, clean with perfect views and a great staff and a terrific breakfast.

It is a little difficult to park your car, as the parking area is small.

One of my favourite guesthouses

Perfect as always! It was our second time here at this guestvilla. Beautiful view, nice rooms, staff and delicious breakfast. The centre is just 8 minutes walking distance, the port is just 5, where You can take the boat and visit other villages. If You want to visit the northern part of lake Garda, this is an ideal place to stay, even for longer time. (It was my third time at lake Garda, so I have tried a few guesthouses!)

Not enough parking space on the spot, difficult to approach with a bigger car, but not impossible.

Our stay at Vista Lago exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect - excellent breakfast with selected local products, charming views and the most pleasant Agnes, with whom we started every morning. Parking in the garage was a great bonus, access to the accommodation was ok even with a larger car - Alessandro's instructions were very helpful. This accommodation was truly exceptional and it was very hard for us to leave Vista Lago.

We had an amazing stay for our honeymoon, and we would love to come back. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Everyone at VistaLago was a wonderful host, welcoming and happy to help with any request. There were a lot of personal touches, such as the honesty bar, and a delicious different breakfast every day, which made it feel far more relaxed than a normal hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with stunning views over the lake.

Easter week in Torbole

One of the best hotels ever. Starting from arrival you feel yourself welcome. There is great spirit in the hotel. Hospitality is genuine and real. Breakfast was super. Staying in this hotel makes you feel like you're part of Garda area. Highly recommended. Hopefully we will come back some day. Room was excellent, just like advertised and more. Two doors to the balcony, daylight and the lake view in the mainroom and even in the bathroom. Combination of touch of the history and modern facilities.

The only place you should stay

Absolute perfection. The views from the property are stunning, overlooking the north western mountains which are the start of the dolomites, providing a more dramatic landscape. The room I had (number 9) was a corner room, with window on two sides and a balcony that looks straight out onto the lake with uninterrupted views. The décor is modern, as shown in the pictures, and to echo many of the other reviews, the breakfast was incredible. An afternoon tea-style ‘etagere’, which consists of three levels of wonderful-ness and was different each day. The star of the show was the proprietor, Agnes, who was warm and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it by a further two days (which luckily they were able to accommodate!).

Access road is tricky. If you have a smaller can or a small motorcycle enter from below. For a larger car or motorcycle with passenger enter from the top end of Via Bellavista.

The location is superb , the owners are excellent , the breakfast is out of your mind , everyday with different products , and high quality products as well you cannot ask for more , the owner had to wait till we arrive since we had many delays , and with a smile on his face , that was really a treat , we have no words for them and the staff , all trying to accommodate you so you fill like home , good advice to visit places and more , if you want a special place to go , please do not hesitate to reserve with them , you will never regret it .

Perfect stay, will be back!

The rooms and the view of the lake from the balcony were amazing! Agnes and Alessandro and all other staff always went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed, including a glass of Prosecco on arrival. Breakfast was superb, with the menu changing each day, again we always felt like we had everything we could of needed! A transfer from the airport was also arranged, which was much appreciated. 10/10 Will definitely be returning!

The walk up the hill, but it was worth it for the views of the lake 😄
