Hotel Benaco is a set in a wonderful quayside central town location, a delightful find on our lake trip. The staff work

Good location. Breakfast easy self service with plenty of choice to suit all. Restaurant area very presentable and food to high standard. Observed hotel staff diligently going about daily routines. House maintenance team definitely add value to hotel. Room very clean.

Room decor a little seasoned maybe a little spruce during off season. Soft mattress.

I think soundproofing could be better. I could hear some noises from the upstairs room like when someone used the bathroom. It was not a big deal but I think it's something that could be improved (:

Great lakeside location. Delicious breakfast and wonderful dinners available at the Hotel. Stunning views from our balcony on third floor. Friendly breakfast staff. Delicious Prosecco and free mini bar too. This was our second stay there and we hope to visit again.

do not forget that the check-inn is not valid after 23:00. If you arrive at midnight, you may not get to the hotel 😁

An ordinary hotel in a nice position

The Benaco is wonderfully situated right on the waterfront in the centre of Torbole. The views of Lake Garda are lovely. The hotel and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were reasonably friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served buffet style, a little basic but plentiful.

We had lunch on arrival and found it fairly dull. If the hotel made more effort with the quality of its food, the service and the atmosphere of its dining room, it could be a first rate establishment. However, there are plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Torbole itself is a small, busy village at the top end of Lake Garda. Because of the closeness of the mountains it gets quite windy so has become a mecca for windsurfers which, even during our September visit meant lots of people around the lakeside. Parking could be a problem, we decided to pay for one of the limited spaces at the hotel - expensive but it made life easier.

Hotel is located at the promenade. Restaurant is a moder (reconstracted) part and last space at hotel are older one but comfy. We traveled with dog, charge per day 10€. Breakfast is rich. You can eat outside at terrace, where you can look at Garda lake. Hotels resaturant is amazing, serving are huge and tasty, we definitly recommend to visit.

Small issue is parking. It is for extra charge for closesed parking 9€ per day and further (10 min by walk) 5€ per day.
