The hotel was small family run and at the quieter end of a road mostly taken over by slightly noisy bars and restaurants.
Our room was extremely spacious with a comfortable bed.
Maybe built in air-coditioning rather than larger machine, but not really an issue.

A lovely small bed and breakfast which felt like a traditional French home stay.
The location is perfect - five minutes walk to the Medieval City and 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The area is also very quiet and on a pedestrian street.
Breakfast was fantastic and Frederic’s service and hospitality was highly commendable.

Stop looking elsewhere. Book the room on the top floor right now. Two of the best views in the city from the privacy of your own balcony. Magical!
Requires careful coordination of check in time with the proprietor. But this is typical for local gems like this and not a problem with proper preparation.
Also, as with many European venues, it was necessary to ascend several flights of spiral stairs. Frederic heroically carried my suitcase, but plan appropriately if you have accessibility challenges.
