Studio with Beautiful View next to Downtown

The hotel is located right next to a beautiful park, which was a great place to walk and relax. It is also conveniently close to downtown, making it easy to access restaurants and local attractions. Parking is available nearby, with longer-term parking (up to 8 hours) available inside the park during the daytime.

The main drawback is that the hotel is located under a flight path, so airplanes pass overhead approximately every 10–15 minutes. The hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs, but light sleepers or guests sensitive to noise should be aware of this before booking. Additionally, street parking nearby is paid parking and is generally limited to 2–4 hours.

Easy to reach by bus. Only 15 minutes walk from downtown. Very friendly staff.

The location was very nice for walking over to Balboa Park and downtown. We love to walk.

So many things didn’t work properly or were difficult to use. The toilet kept running, the bathroom light would automatically turn on randomly and wake us up, the ice machine was noisy trying to make ice but there was no water or ice trays, the front door was difficult to open when unlocked, the tv system and remote were nearly impossible to figure out and so was the heater. The fold out couch bed was uncomfortable, proper bedding wasn’t available- only a comforter. There was no “headrest” so the pillow kept slipping to floor. It was nice to have furniture on the patio: 2 chairs and a coffee table but there was no little table available at the proper height to eat or work from.
