Close proximity to one of the entrances to the walled portion of the town. Loved that it was a converted home (I assume), so it felt like part of the town rather than a hotel.
Very small shower and the street parking was a bit tricky (streets are narrow)

Our stay at Casa do Toupeiro may have only been for one night, but it was incredibly memorable. From the moment we arrived, Sara welcomed us warmly and was genuinely one of the friendliest and most helpful hosts we’ve encountered. It was an absolute pleasure meeting her, and she immediately made us feel comfortable and at home.
She kindly showed us a couple of available rooms and let us choose the one we preferred. We ended up selecting a room with a massive terrace that offered an incredible view — easily one of the highlights of our stay. The room itself was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, featuring a loft area upstairs with two twin beds and a queen bed on the main floor. It would be perfect for families or small groups traveling together. The bed was quite comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep after a long day of exploring.
The location is fantastic, sitting just across the street from the castle, which made it incredibly easy to wander over and explore the historic area without needing to drive or plan transportation.
Overall, this was a wonderful experience with warm hospitality, a beautiful room, and an unbeatable location. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily return on a future visit.
Pillows could have been more comfortable.

Location to the inner city of Obidos was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well and was needed. Overall very quiet. Shower was great but could use a self on the wall on which to put soap etc. so you don't have to put your washing utensils on the floor of the shower.
I'm not crazy about trying to park and dive on extremely steep hills. Beware that the free parking is on steep inclines and if you do not feel comfortable with this then avoid this private home that has been made into a guest house! Read the fine print about payment -- ONLY cash accepted. There was a shared kitchen right outside of the door to our room. It was very uncomfortable to have people right there at your door preparing food in the kitchen. There is advertised a sitting area in a garden in the back. We check it out but his was not useable and there were dogs locked up barking at us.
