Staying in a mansion built in the 1740s full of character and antique furniture is special. Casa Picva is just outside the town walls so is very well located. Our host is very knowledgeable, attentive and keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was spotless and accessed via the garden, which we sat in before going to dinner. The breakfast is well worth having with home baked rolls, homemade jams and homemade pastel de Nata.Obidos is a special place to visit, so all in all our visit was exceptional.

The location was very convenient being next to an entry to the walled city and we were fortunate to have on-site parking. The host greeted us on arrival and was good to provide guidance on visiting the town. The property is a family home and it was interesting to hear about its history and to see all the art and antiques. The breakfast provided by the host was terrific with homemade touches such fresh-baked pastel de nata (the best in Portugal), buns, and preserves.
We have no complaints.
