Costa Adeje-2 bed.apartment with double terrace

We were blown away by the standard to which the property was presented - I have in the past paid much more and got a significantly less good apartment. This apartment feels bigger than the specs The terraces always allowed you to find some shade - there’s not much direct sunlight in the late afternoon, but that suited us well as we were normally returning after a day in the sun, so more sun wasn’t really needed. Lorna’s pool bar was excellent and convenient - we especially liked the breakfast. The pool was literally just outside the terrace and was a good size and surprisingly deep. Mercadona supermarket in the X-Sur complex (5 minute walk, just the other side of the motorway bridge) had all we needed on holiday. Air conditioning only in the living room, but the bedroom fans were more than up to the job of keeping us cool (and I have an issue with getting too hot at night) Big fridge freezer is more than we would ever need on holiday - but gave us loads of room to keep everything cold. Taxi rank is just at the bottom of the hill, opposite the (delightful) Dheli Darbar restaurant. Within walking distance (1/2 hour) of Siam park - especially if you get going before it gets too hot.

The double mattress was a bit softer than we are used to - but that is really the only negative thing to say about the apartment. It wasn’t a problem for us, but the last 1/4 mile walking back from the beach is up a moderately steep hill.

Amazing location, amazing hosts, all appliances provided- overall a wonderful stay ☺️

Nothing not to like

Apartament w kompleksie Mareverde. Cały kompleks ma już trochę lat, ale jest nieźle utrzymany. Wyposażenie apartamentu nowe. Taras od strony basenu jest świetnym miejscem. W okolicy kilka sklepów oraz fajnych restauracji w normalnych cenach. Do plaży spacerem około 10 minut, powrót pod górkę ale nawet dzieci dawały radę.

Jedna kwestia, która bardzo obniżyła ostateczną ocenę i spowodowała, że w to miejsce już nie wrócimy. Chodzi o sąsiedztwo - byliśmy 5 nocy i prawie każdej na którymś z sąsiednich balkonów lub tarasów (zawsze na innym) odbywały się alkoholowe nasiadówki do 1-2 w nocy. Spać się niestety nie dało, bo ględzenie i pijackie rechoty Niemców/Anglików/Hiszpanów niestety na to nie pozwały. Więc jeśli sami jedziecie po to, żeby sami imprezować, to śmiało, nikt Wam nie będzie przeszkadzał! Ale jak chcecie się wyspać, żeby mieć siły na zwiedzanie wyspy (a warto!), to wybierzcie coś innego.

Very central location with most amenities nearby including restaurants , bars and shopping centres, plus public transport outside on main street.

Limited sunshine time on balcony in January but access to pool more than compensates
