It was brilliant. Very quiet, tucked away, beautiful cottage, but only 15 minutes by car from Carrick on Shannon. We found it to be a good base to explore Sligo and Roscommon as well as Leitrim.
There's no WiFi, and even mobile data comes and goes, but that said, it wasn't a problem for us.

Beautiful cottage on old estate. Cows walking past our window , gorgeous walks, perfectly comfortable.

We had a lovely relaxing time at The Potter's Lodge. The place is quiet and private, at night you don't hear a sound. Everything is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. In the kitchen we had everything we needed, shower cubicle was spacious. The decor was beautiful. I liked the little cordless hoover which was very easy to use to keep the place spotless during our 4 days stay. The fact that there is no Wi-Fi is no problem because there are boardgames to keep the whole family entertained at the evenings, we had very special time together.
Ruth, the owner is very friendly and she left a chocolate and a bottle of wine on our arrival. Thank you!
Well it took us 3 days to figure out how the induction hob works and the TV wouldn't unmute but it was our fault because we could have asked 😀. My recommendation would be to add pillow protectors. No complaints whatsoever, we would love to come back some day.
