Delightful stay!

Loved the rural farm setting. Close enough to get around to where I wanted to go without being in the thick of it. Very comfortable bed, everything I needed.

Water pressure was gravity fed, somewhat inadequate for flushing and washing, although the shower was on its own pump and wonderful. I think the location led to more wind than in other areas, keeping me in when I might otherwise have gone out.

Fantastic stay

We had a lovely stay at Trad cottage. We had a very nice welcome from Paul and his dogs and Paul had left some fresh eggs from his ducks and hens The living space is really nice and comfortable with everything one needs for a self catering holiday. Bed is very comfortable and the shower is excellent. The apartment is spotless and the views are gorgeous. The area offers very nice rural walks. It is a very convenient location for exploring both North Mayo and Sligo..

Excellent!

Absolutely gorgeous apartment: I'm freezing all the time, but the house is beautifully built, no draughts, great insulation, everything is clean, new, we hardly used the heating! The apartment also has everything for cooking, which was very important to us. To our surprise, there is even an induction hob! The bedroom has a very comfortable bed. So we are absolutely delighted and would definitely come back.

A perfect little holiday!

It was an absolutely lovely apartment, with beautiful gardens and views. I liked the location which was perfect for me with great places to go walking, cycling and surfing. My dog had an absolutely amazing time with his new friends :-)

Just some tiny bits, such as a smaller chopping board and a knife to chop vegetables, but I might just not have found it...

A wonderful experience in this place where the owner Paul is a fantastic man who made everything in order we could enjoy our staying in Culleens as better as possible. The house is comfortable, the position is perfect to reach every place of tha countee of Mayo and Sligo. We also learned from Paul how to built baskets with willow that he grows in his garden. All perfect, we hope to come again in the future. Lovely two dogs, expecially the younger.....

Trad Cottage perfect for a relaxing holiday

Lovely, cosy apartment set in beautiful grounds with great views across peaceful countryside. Paul is a great host, had everything essential in the kitchen and very kindly lent us a book about the local area. Very dog friendly place, so relaxing and comfortable that we didn't want to leave!

Our host Paul, his son and dog were very friendly and helpful, we were greeted with a bottle of wine to say sorry for the main road being closed due to resurfacing which of course was not his fault, we were also given 6 newly laid eggs from his hens and another 6 when we left.

Just to mention that the apartment is reached by wooden stairs on the outside of the building which is OK but something to be aware of.

The apartment was extremely well equipped, comfortable, and spacious. Everything about it was fantastic and way above our expectations. Lots of little extra touches from chocolates to freshly laid eggs made this place really stand out from places we have stayed before. Special mention to the lovely little dogs who were so friendly.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, very spacious and had everything you needed. The apartment has a microwave, washing machine, cooker, fridge, kettle etc. the bed was so comfortable to sleep in. great shower facility and towels provided. Paul who owns the apartment was very polite and helpful.

Not a big issue but not having a TV in the bedroom to watch at night time.

Lovely Apartment

Lovely clean. Perfect size apartment. Everything was supplied even fresh milk in the fridge. Lovely peaceful location off the N59. We did not see paul but he had left plenty of information on the fridge door.

The only real issue we had was the shower pressure was low and the temperature of the water was temperamental.

Nice clean apartment near Enniscrone. Would be great for a summer stay. Lovely interior, nice location remote and quiet.

We stayed here for a wedding last November. When we arrived the apartment was freezing and there was only a heater on the wall in the kitchen which did not heat the whole apartment. We got the electric heater next day from the owner and it was great afterwards.

Apartment has all needed facilities, well equipped, very calming farms views , fantastic location to explore, we have found 4 different walks , we had to cross the busy road however road can become quiet to give enough time to cross the road, we done several times and our beagle was with us on holidays so I'm greatfull of having such a great , calming time

Excellent, relaxing

Had freshly laid eggs. Milk, tea, coffee sugar, butter all the condiments all provided. There was a Chromecast on the tv so we could cast our own streaming accounts if we wish and there was even charging cables at both sides of the bed with all the different connections. Everything was thought of. Even gave us a gift to apologies for having to move our car one morning to facilitate painting. It wasn't even an inconvenience but when we got back that evening there was fancy crisps, chocolate, sparkling apple juice and wine in a lovely gift bag for us. Wish every holiday accomodation was to this standard

The property was beautiful, had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. Wifi,Tv, kitchen appliances to do our own cooking! I also had a special request for arrival which was waiting for us and I am extremely grateful for. Would highly recommend staying here!

The good, the bad, and the reality.

Really comfy bed! Lots of animals to see and feed. Chickens, donkeys, cows and sheep. Nesting birds. Lovely being surrounded by nature. The apartment had almost everything I needed. (Could have done with a chopping board, tin opener, sieve, scissors, wooden spoon, garlic press and microwave if I'm being picky) The extras were a sweet touch - fresh milk and eggs - although wasted on me as a vegan 🤣

Water was brown (had to buy bottled water from the garage). It was a day before I realised - then it made sense why I was ill. The shower was so slow to drain that it almost overflowed. The toilet was difficult to flush

The most charming place we have ever stayed at. Quiet place with all the animals around in the lovely hills. Paul, the host, was very kind and caring. Very interrestig sights in radius of 30 km (Moyne Abbey, Rathfran Abbey, Parke's castle etc etc.) Falling asleep with booing of cows in the most lovely countryside = ideal holiday. So relaxing
