Located in a beautiful setting, deer passing by the window in the evening, very quiet and tranquil place to stay but with plenty to see and do within a short distance from the cabin such as Slish Woods, Lough Gill, Glencar Waterfall, Rosses Point, Parke's Castle to name a few, there so much more to see that another visit is definitely on the cards. Had dinner in The Riverview restaurant, fantastic food, and very friendly, helpful, and professional staff. We were welcomed by Declan and Barabara (and Mia, the most polite doggy EVER), who were extremely helpful with suggestions on where to visit and made us feel very welcome and at home. Highly recommend a visit to In the Woods.

Declan is an extremely friendly host who gave us lots of hints of things to do. We followed quite some and had a great time in and around Sligo.
The house itself we would not come back to. For us the low level of comfort and hygiene are the main determining factors.
