SCAM - violent manager and horrible smell

The manager is a violent person and a scammer. He attacked me and insulted me while shouting in Macedonian. He told me not to go to the police because they would “fight” me. This place is a scam: there is no water, and it smelled terribly disgusting, there is not maintenance at all. I had booked for one night and arrived in the evening. The manager gave me the key but did not inform me that there was no water, even though he knew about it, as it had been published by the local council a day in advance. When I tried to tell him this, he got angry and said it was not his fault. I then explained that I had only booked for one night and, since there was no water which he knew about in advance and did not tell me I would leave. At that point, he started screaming and insulting me in Macedonian, as he could barely speak proper English. I felt very unsafe and decided to leave..The main reason was that there was no water, so the accommodation did not fulfill the conditions of the booking. On top of that, there was a disgusting smell throughout the room.

Nice 3 star hotel

Room was clean, small but not too small. The food was really nice, good quality and tasty. The beach is near by. Great location for the walk around.

Parking is very small, and expensive. It costs 15e a day. If you need parking, small chance to have it in the hotel, but on the walking distance there is a big parking lot for 6e per day.

Great location close to the center of town as well as to the border (few minutes drive from the highway). Parking available in front of the building. Late check in till 24h very convenient. Room spacious clean and cozy. Big bathroom. Big terrace makes stay even more pleasant. Kind and witty host. Highly recommended for a short stay in Gevgelija.

The facility is new and the personnel were great. The bed was comfortable and the entire space was clean. The kitchen is equipped with enough gadgets.

The bathroom was smelling weird, I think because of the airflow from the pipes.

Convenient for border and parking but very good earplugs needed

Easy check in and out. Easy street parking, staff are helpful.

Apartment had a bad drain smell, all windows were open when I got there I guess to reduce it… also road noise was really bad even with all windows shut
