Unhygienic, sketchy, overpriced, not safe

The location was easy to find, close to the main road

The owner is very strange. When I arrived (within check-in hours) she wasn't there, the house was empty, she didn't pick up the phone. After multiple attempts I've managed to reach her. She arrived then later. She's complained that the booking is not working for her and she didn't know I will be coming. Even though she knew my nationality, so she was clearly lying. The owner has asked me if I'm alone. After confirming, she's removed the second pair of pillow and blanket because 'I will not need it then"', even though the price I paid was for a double room. The owner checked the water to confirm the warm water is running. It was running, but the water was either hot or cold, the mixer is clearly broken. She checked if there's toilet paper, there was none, so she just entered another room and gave me a scrap of remaining toilet paper. The room was dirty, the sheets were dirty, there were nails layjng around on the stairs. The next morning I was supposed to lock the house and leave the key. An older man came to me and asked for a key saying that he is an electrician. After I refused because I didn't know him, he started insulsing me, became aggressive. This was a totally strange, negative experience. Skip this place.

You get what you paid for.

Its very close to highway to Greece and very easy to find. It's near all winery's in the area if you are interested. Parking near location. Hot water. It's cheap.

There's a railroad and a national road in front of the location so a lot of noise. Only cash payment. No tv cable. No possibility for breakfast or coffee (paid). Booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children - 1 queen bed 1 sofa bed - we got a queen bed of 1.60 and a travel matress on the floor.

Room is clean. Location is good, close to the winery and restoran.

It was very slippery floor when it was wet, super dangerous for kids and adults. There were no any anislip mat at the entrance or on the room. Just tiles everywhere. A bit smaller room then expected but didn't disturb us.

Stay away if you have any other option.

It's near the highway, and easy to find.

Hygiene and the host. Although I announced a late arrival through the booking, the lady was hardly willing to let us into the accommodation. The rooms and the bathrooms cry for a good and detailed "spring cleaning". I know it's just an overnight stay, but seeing the hairs from previous guests is not a pleasant experience. But, even worse than that, was the host's reaction on our leave... While checking out, in the manner of friendly advice we commented on the clearness of the rooms and bathrooms, but what we get as the reaction is a horror story... She spilled on us a barrage of curse words, wishing us (I quote): "All the worst and bad luck on our trip" I've never experienced such a thing in my life...

the worst ever experience of both host and facility. don’t come close if you don’t want to be insulted and screamed at.

The worst experience of my life!!! no exaggeration. I have 10 years of intense traveling with booking.com and nothing like this I have experienced before.

when we arrived, I asked for kettle (that was stated as part of a deal in the room), and the host said it broke yesterday, and immediately sent me to go to restaurant (IR was close to midnight, little village, and me after 10 hours of driving!) saying why I have problem paying for tea. next day she filed me with Booking saying that I BROKE THE KETTLE THAT DIDN’T EVEN EXIST and asked me to pay 25€ !!!!! We had to pay cash. I didn’t have change, so I payed 30 euros, and I told her, that when they will have change, I will give other 10, the moment I receive change. She demanded to take my passport away because most likely I will run away in the early morning (yes yes, because of 3 euros🤦‍♀️). at this point I understood something is wrong and filmed the rest of conversation. She was screaming at me and threatening to kick me out of the room because I don’t trust her and her serious business (video sent to booking service). The host was literally lying in my face, and if I wasn’t dead tired from such long drive I would leave myself, but it was close to midnight already. The other thing is facility itself. the bathroom is literally grown with mold!!! it’s impossible to be there, I make pictures, guys it’s not dust - it’s alive full grown mold on a toilet flush and in the shower!!! on the balcony there were empty cans of beer on the table that we saw in the morning. and right outside the property there is a train that went 6 am and woke us up. a small detail that I wouldn’t mention, but considering the whole experience, it’s just a little cherry on the top

Fine for a sleepover

Great location if you are travelling to Greece or came to rock climb, close to the winery which is great. The room was clean, air conditioning worked, comfortable for a sleepover.

Weird communication throughout, but everything worked out in the end. Had hot water sometimes, probably depending on number of guests. Didn't like it that they went to our rooms when we were out.

It's decent but a lot can be improved

It's still unexpected to find good accomodation in Demir Kapija. Basically, the accomodation is solid.

I found few remarks. Firstly, I found a big 🕷️ web in one corner. Secondly, a had a problem with bathroom door lock, wich was broken, so I almost spent a night in bathroom. Thirdly, the shower cabin door was broken. Fourthly, the is NO possibility to have breakfast or dinner at villa and it's the same in Demir Kapija, so if you don't bring your meal with you, you will stay hungry.

The place was very clean and close to highway exit, just what we needed for a stopover. The room was well equipped and comfortable.

The mattress was not very comfortable, there was lots of noise as some guests arrived at 3am (doors are really thin) and the house is next to train tracks. We had to wait for host some 15minutes, although we arrived on time, as noted.

Good

Very affordable, very close to the Greek border and to the highway, so it's very convenient for a one night stay.

We booked 3 rooms, but one of them had a problem and wasn't ready at 7pm when we arrived, one of them was really smelly (bathroom problems) and one of them was ok. God thing we only needed one room in the end, as our friends couldn't come that day. Check in was kind of funny, we had to go to a nearby restaurant to get the keys.

Very convenient accomodation when in transit. Room is clean and comfortable, the host is very nice.

It was a little bit loud from the traffic outside and the railroad, but when you close the window, it's not much of the problem.
