We stayed here for five days straight. We added new bookings every morning. Communication with the manager was via email, though I think WhatsApp would also be an option. The manager always responded to my emails quite quickly. The service was excellent! The rooms are very spacious. The beds and showers were wonderful! If I'm ever back in the Azores, I'll definitely stay here again! Greetings from the Netherlands.

The room we stayed in was large and the bed was large. The room was clean and there are outlets by the bed which was nice. Decent for the price.

They say there is an outdoor pool but the pool seems to not be maintained. It’s extremely unsanitary and can’t be swam in.

I stayed for 6 nights at this guesthouse. The location is ideal for those seeking a quiet place, though it requires having a car to move around freely. The house has immense potential; however, it is somewhat neglected. The staff are friendly, despite the fact that I never saw them and they were only available via WhatsApp for most of the time I needed to communicate with them. The fact that there was construction work next door (always starting early, but I also always woke up early to make the most of the day) and dogs barking at night in the local area did not negatively impact my rest, and I am a light sleeper.

I hardly know where to begin... Everything seemed fine when we entered the house, just following the instructions. The first disappointment was the kitchen and the deplorable state of the fridge in terms of hygiene, as well as the pool. The stove was not working, and the available dishes also hadn't seen cleanliness in a long while. As we were alone, we needed to walk around the house closing windows that were banging due to the wind. One of the bedroom windows (in room 8) wouldn't open. The bed is good for straightening your back, as it reminds one of those Asian beds without a mattress. The TV in the room didn't work, but it was replaced the next day after contacting the person in charge, as was the stove that got fixed. Everything started to go downhill from the second day with the arrival of a group of 12 people. They completely took over the fridge (there was a second fridge that was broken and a promise of fixing it on a notice posted there, but that never happened), leaving no space for anything else, and left everything scattered around the kitchen, including unfinished food. I reported this to the person in charge, and the response was that they had to be civil, something I questioned if I was supposed to resolve myself. Supposedly, this was communicated to them, but care was only evident on the first day we reported the issue, as it progressively got worse day by day, leaving us feeling like we were too much for the house. The group was noisy during their dinners, taking over everything in the shared areas of the house without any consideration for other guests. On the last night, they threw a big party, and the person in charge was not contactable, which led me to confront the group in a less pleasant manner, creating an even worse atmosphere among everyone. This could have easily been resolved if there was someone on-site, something that never happened during my 6-day stay.
